Do I still put a book on my shelf if I know someone else has read it?
Go for it Tamme. It shows us that more than 1 person read the book, even though it will only count once in the tally of books read. Some books are bound to be more popular than others. I don't know if I would change the stars if the first person rated it though.

Teri, I would assume non-fiction essays (Kindle Singles) aren't on Goodreads? I just finished reading "Guns" by Stephen King, and though it's on his Goodreads page, I can't find it listed under his work, if I can find it, I will add it toward our reads (though quite short, I still read it). :)

Hi what a great group challenge I would like to join in

The email address is rkbreaders@gmail.com and the password is rkbfb. Log into that account and set up a shelf with your name. After you've finished a book, put it on your shelf. That's it! It doesn't matter how many others have read the book. GRs only counts one of each.
It works a lot better if you use 2 separate browsers and GR sometimes won't let you log in to two different accounts with the same browser.
