Explamation required.

I am confused of how sheikh Imran mentioned that the gateway to other dimensions (samawat) always takes place in Jerusalem, while in his book "Jerusalem in the Quran" hadeeth al jasassa, Dajaal was found in an island described by him as Britain?

Also,regarding the hadeeth that describes the stay of dajaal on earth, he multiplied the day which is like a year, month, week,..) by 1000. Why 1000 precisely? Why not 50,000 or 300 days or 100 days or any other dimension time?
