Have librarian status, cannot add book, what am I doing wrong?

I've read a book that's not on GR yet... (dutch and published in 1957 :-) )
I have the librarian status so I clicked 'manually add book'.
I get a message about my email not being verified, click to verify...

click... an email has been sent ...
However that email never reaches me:-S

What's wrong??

Any goodreads member should be able to add a missing book, whether or not a librarian.

I'm not sure about the email error message. Anyone else know? (If a system bug, may not get fixed until some tech staff back from holidays).

I can try adding the book if you want to post the information.

At first I wanted to say... but I've tried all that, because really I did!!!
But then I realised I did not get any spam at all and I went looking for a spam folder. My Mac mailprogram does not have one, but when I checked directly at hotmail.com I found both the spamfolder and the verification email...
Problem solved :-)
