Huh, OK. Thanks rivka. Back to 657, the short story is not merging. I think it was referenced earlier in this thread, but regardless it's timing out on me. Someone else want to try?

Have combined with the relevant other editions to retain the ratings.
I was doing a few minor edits to a book this morning and noticed the author had four distinct works listed on his author page. There are currently only two distinct works of his in the Goodreads database. Two of the titles on his author page need to be deleted as it appears they were added by the same user and contain no data except title, edition information and language. The edition information states Kindle, but the Kindle Edition of this book has already been added to the database. Someone keeps adding this book and attributing it to Kristen Ashley, who has said repeatedly that it is not hers. Is there any way to prevent someone from adding it again? Anyway, it's up in 2 versions.http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/17...

If someone puts one author name in the title line, then another name in the author's spot, just a (mis)spelling variation, doesn't that raise questions about whether or not the book exists? Or which author it's by?Someone has even created a "tour book" of sorts, listing all the places Kristen Ashley's books mention. It's not a real book, someone just created it and added it to GR.
I guess it would be nice if people took the time to verify what they add, but it sounds as though its no big deal, so why bother?
