We were reading the book fro English class and they did well with the story line. They did change some and added a lot. Overall it was amazing! But I hate how they split it up into three parts... >:(

I'm reading the book at the moment and loving it! I was watching a documentary and they said they added bits with Gandalf to bulk it out because in the book you don't know what Gandalf is doing when he's not with the dwarfs and Bilbo but in the Lord of the Rings books you find out so they added it all in:) same, they could've just made one awesome movie instead of a 3 parter!

My favorite dwarf was probably Dwalin! He was the one who was bald on top and the first to show up at Bilbo's house... or myabe just Thorin )

I loved the movie but my dad couldn't stop complaining about it on the ride home. And he said he wasn't complaining. My brother, my mom, and I were like "stop it! You're the only one who didn't like it." -_-

I read online that the next movie is gonna be called "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug"

I thought The Hobbit was amazing! I am a big Lord of The Rings fan, so naturally I've seen and own all the other movies (extended additions, of course!) and so when I heard The Hobbit was coming out I FLIPPED and when I finally saw it.. ohmigosh, it was great!

Loved it, there are two more parts to the movie. They split it in thirds.
