Jacque Hodges (Carter) I probably won't meet my goal of 51 books this year but to be fair, I have read some giant tomes for the classical book club.

Dorottya (dorottya_b) | 23 comments I am doing pretty well with my 100 book challenge, I'm at 95, woot woot! :) It could have been better, but with my news masters, I only have time and energy to read the obligatory drama (I learn theatre studies)... I have not read a novel for like a month now :(. But Christmas season (after an exam, meh), I'm gonna snuggle up in a blanket and read loads of light novels!!!!

Shanea | 358 comments It looks like half of my reading goals are going to be complete. There are four left of my overall goal for the year (104) and have four left in my classic author challenge as well. I'm probably going to finish at least four books, but I have to be in the mood for certain books, and I'm just not motivated enough to determine a classic author who has a U in their name whose book I want to read, and then hunt the book down. This is probably the worst time ever to try to squeeze in "Bleak House," but in my defense it seemed like a good idea at the time. Nearly every time I read Dickens I need at least two light novels or autobiographies to clean my brain.

W (thereader1) | 10 comments I set mine at 20, very low, i know.... but i am at 19, i will be doing much better next year. I have been reading giant fantasy novels, so that made it a bit tougher, but the joy of reading is what counts :-)

That's why I am alway backing out of thematic challenge, because I never know if I am going to have the time or the mood to read certain books...

I know what you mean, it can be hard to get motivated if you don't like it. I had never done one before though, so I figured it would be fun to try. On second thought it would probably be best to start with a smaller group.

For U I recommend Kristin Lavransdatter by Sigrid Undset.

Dorottya (dorottya_b) | 23 comments My resolutions now:
-read more fun, light literature, novels! I have to read so many classic dramas for university and analyse them that I sometimes don't have the energy to read other stuff or anything, which worries me, because I do enjoy reading...
-read at least one or two classics which are not dramas and not really short novellas
