Maurice May This trilogy, and it's companion book - Mordred, has been one of my favourite reads since the 11970's when The Crystal Cave - outlining Merlins early life, was first published.
Just wish I could find a copy of the Crystal Cave now - mine was chewed by my dog when she was still a puppy.

Karen I haven't read these books for many years, but I remember absolutely loving them!

Karen Go on Ebay I'm sure there or abebooks have it

Cathy Parra This series was amazing! Loved it as a kid and I still pick it up and reread it.

Kevin I have read this trilogy so many times that I have had to repurchase the hardback twice due to the cover falling off - while that could be due to poor construction, I can say it is the only book that I've ever had do that. If it were possible to rate this trilogy 10 stars I would!

I just got mine of Amazon when my mum told me about them. Wasn't that hard to find. They used to be her favourite.

Elizabeth I first read these books when in College in Carmarthen and had a wonderful view of Merlin's Mountain from my window. Love these books and re read them quite often. I to had to buy new copies as originals fell apart.

Cathy Parra Elizabeth, how lucky you were to have seen that. One day, hopefully, I'll get there.

Sloane McClain I loved this series of books. But then I love Mary Stewart books, anyway. My mother got me started reading them. Mary Stewart was one of my inspirations for wanting to write myself.
