Haha! I am laughing so hard right now! (not) Actually I just chuckled. :) but you know what's funny? you don't actually laugh when you're on the computer... its more like you just breathe out of your nose really hard. Lol! Sorry, I am weird. But thats what I did!

I really don't like anyone for Charlie. The popular "actors" in hollywood are all too "pretty". They need to find someone who looks like he could knock bad guys out. I can't think of any young actors that fit the bill.For Beth, I'd like to see Dianna Agron (she played Sarah in I Am Number Four)
Oh Yeah she seems good.. Yeah I can't really think of anyone for Charlie..
For the teacher, I see a Matt Damon type. For sensei Mike, I see a Christian Bale, or Sam Worthington.
Alex Pettyfer should be Charlie!!!! I already said that before, but he would be perfect!
Alex Pettyfer might be too old now. Not sure I could buy him as a Seventeen-year-old.
And I scoff at pretty much all of them.
Well in I am number four he played 15, but totally did not look that young! And He has played on some teen movies (I looked him up.... he's my fav actor.)not much though. but errg! he would be awesome!

Never read the Alex Rider books, but I saw the movie. It was pretty good.

And everytime I read it I always imagine Burkely Duffield as Charlie. I dunno why but... that's who I wish should play Charlie in the movie. But then it's unlikely. Then there's Mark Hapka too but he's too old.
Dianna Agron is DEFINITELY the Beth character. She is H-H-HAWT! Like on the scale of 1-10, she'll beat up the sun. xD

You should totally Google them. I mean, sure they're good looking, but I don't know if they are kickass Karate student material.
I really want to see the movie, like now. I really hope they don't ruin it though. Worst case scenario would to be cast Justin Bieber as Charlie West. Please do NOT let it happen!!! Charlie is broad-shouldered and six feet tall. Justin is skinny and short. The movie would be ruined with that.

okay, I know it's late to join this discussion but I just can't help myself because I loved these books so much!yes, we need to think of a tough kid for Charlie....not exceptionally handsome but cool enough to pull it off....hmmm. Say, who was that kid in Jack the Giant Slayer? think he's tough enough? can't think of his name...
Oh, and I'm not sure if anyone mentioned it, but Sean Bean should definitely be one of the bad guys. :)
and please, nobody super pretty for Beth. Please not some glitzy glamorous girl, just a plain nice kid with slightly wavy hair. :)
