Things that ward off a vampire

If you're keeping a vampire away, here are some useful things.

Christian Cross If you don't know what that is, it is the regular cross. Or a crucifix. What ever you call it, you'll hear it in many legends, books, and movies. It is based on the fact that vampires work for the devil or are unholy.

Holy water This is the water used is baptisms. It is the same thing from the cross. I've read stories, and seen movies, in which the vampire hunter wears a small bottle around there neck, but it seems a little in vain, because of all the time it would take to get the water out.

Bells Once again, I'm not sure. But it must work.

Rice This keeps a vampire distracted. According to legend, they'll have to count out every last grain.

Garlic Keep a few cloves of this, and you'll be sure to keep vampires away. And humans if you eat it.

Salt Salt is used to keep anything evil away.

oh, i've never heard of that. but the vampires in this book called "you suck" there is a vampire that hates that.

i think Garlic works because in most myths, like for western vampires it works.

In Night World (a vampire series) it's hard to keep them away. Shine a flashlight in their eyes and they will be shortly blinded.
