@Glyn, made a note to take a peak at APEX."

I second Alan Dale. Haven't read Kristopher, but will check him out.

I'm shooting for a book 6 (Armageddon Z) release of October 15th, and plan to so Kindle select free days on Sundays, to coincide with the Walking Dead's awesome return to TV.

L.R. Currell (Currell) | 7 comments If you are looking for a new, fresh zombie book series with some different ideas and a few unique angles check out my tasty trio series. The second book has more zombie action then the first as it is progressing into the series.

Book 2, "A dead horse named Caleb" will be out in weeks.

Yes, the title refers to an old glue nag that was bitten and is now a zombie horse. His owner tapes the horse's jaw up with electrical tape and motivates him with guts on a stick.

C.E. Martin (cemartin2) | 13 comments Are there any zombie series where they're supernatural, deadite-types, instead of viral?

Shana Festa | 67 comments Black Redneck vs. Space Zombie is one I just reviewed. Check it out and see if it's what you're looking for. Definitely not a viral outbreak.

The trilogy is definitely worth the read. I will be reviewing the series soon.

Thank you, Shana! I am releasing "Interludes in Hell" this week too. :) And those who grab Voyage of the Dead for free will still save $ by getting the trilogy, Sovereign Spirit Saga: Volume One, instead of buying Flotilla of the Dead and Deluge of the Dead separately. Just part of the ramp up for Volume Two! :)

Nice website, Shana! And thanks for listing
Voyage of the Dead in your list of "must have free books." :) Glad to see you promoting Permuted Press too. They just released an anthology that I compiled. Outbreak: Visions of the Apocalypse has contributions from 20 talented authors, including Hugh Howey, Rhiannon Frater, Craig DiLouie, Shawn Chesser and yours truly. Each of us offer our own version of how a zombie apocalypse might unfold. It's an appetizing sampler platter of excerpts from previously published books and a great way to discover something new. All proceeds go to charity.

PM me if you want to do a write-up for your website. :)
