At least they kind of have realistic problems and worries in their relationship, which Clary and Jace lack.

Me too :) When i was reading the last book, i kinda skimmed the Jace and Clary parts just so I could get to the Alec Magnus parts aha :)

Every time I read about them, I find myself smiling. They are a couple who I could totally see in the real world; as opposed to the surreal Clary/Jace pairing
