Congrats on your writing Xaviera! I was 17 when I wrote my first book and 18 when I entered the publishing industry. Writing is such a wonderful and amazing path! I will try to check out your work when I have a second!

I read your blog post about your sister. At first, I thought it was an excerpt from a short story or a new novel, then I cross referenced it with your bio and realized you were depicting an actual event (or am I wrong?).

In any case, hopefully everything works out for you, but the one thing to take away from dramatic moments in life is that they provide a great source of fuel for future literary works.
