Aww don't mention it :) I am happy we chose this book. It is definitely one of my best reads this year :D

You know what, Corey reminded me a lot of my high school friend. He was so sweet also :) They are both tall and HUGE! lol... I kept seeing his face reading this book. :P

I was a late bloomer, so I didn't experience any of those things Sid faced. But I saw how boys treated some of my friends. It was not nice at all.

And the rape scene was hard for me also because one of my friends was date raped and one was almost raped during a party during our sophomore year.

wow, I can see how that would make the scene hard to read about. One of the parts of this book I actually appreciated, that we didn't get a very graphic rape scene description. I think that could have made it harder to read.

but instead it kept it a little lighter with such a tough topic.

I love that the baker refers to Corey as Shaggy from Scoobydoo!! it helped me entirely place it (and it cracked me up!!) LOL!

Agree. It would have been difficult to read that scene.

I laughed a lot reading this book and cried a lot also. If someone had seen me, they would think I was crazy XD
