The characters are the best! :D
uh oh, just read the synopsis because, really, I got this book for the cover - lolhmmm, excitement dampened a little so I am prepared for the down ward spiral.... :(
Confusing, where are you Gisbelle?? (chapter #?)
wow...and WOW! Gisbelle, when you pick it back up, make sure to have a little bit of reading time.I had to push myself through her tough spiral down...it's not too bad but I just stopped after Chapter 15 and it's starting to get very very fun :)
I'll probably finish the book tomorrow, though, since I have two buddy reads starting on the 30th! LOL!
I hope you like it too!
Trisha, is it good or good? :D I love this book; I'm probably going to re-read it again sometime soon. :P
I'll try to read more. Now I have to write a few reviews for my blog. I have been neglecting it for awhile now.
Angela (: wrote: "Trisha, is it good or good? :D I love this book; I'm probably going to re-read it again sometime soon. :P"oh my gosh, it's SO GOOD! I want to keep reading!!! I would LOVE to finish it tonight!!!
but I want to wait, read something else and I'll finish it tomorrow. But it's hard to stop! LOL! it's soo good!
ok. I just picked it up and now in chapter 4. It's gettin good like you gals said. :) I laughed a few times :D
I know.....awful :( it breaks my heart. I was telling my 14 year old about what happened in the book. She said "that's not fair, mom! That's just not even right." Oh, my dear daughter, don't I know.... :*[
:( Now I just realized that everything was just a trap. I'll read more later. Now I have to deal with sth first.
in chapter 11, and I love the book. It reminds me so much of my high school year. Bittersweet memories.
Gisbelle wrote: "reading chapter 15. Got me thinking. I've never been in a cat fight before."LOL. I've never been in one either. :P
Gisbelle wrote: "the book reminds me of Sea of Tranquility :) a good sign."I know me too! not quite as...graphic or intense
but still the same vein...which I why I think I like it :)
lol I have been in cat fights.... lol oh high school....
oh my gosh! end of chapter 23!!! awwww!! I'm doing a happy dance!! yay!!!!!but I wish she'd tell someone what happened already....sheesh

lol I have..."
Ooh you bad-a** :D I am a bit disappointed now that I've missed out this life experience
Gisbelle wrote: "I loooooooove this book!!!!! Have anyone cried? I cried like 4 or 5 times."YES YES YES!! I cried at least 3 times.
What an amazing story.
My only complaint. No information about reporting rape or even a help line information at the end of the book.
Yes, like in Almost, right? That'd be great. Corey is so sweet. I want to hug him and squeeze him to death XD
I think I will check out this book soon! It seems like you guys really liked it! :)
Tori wrote: "I think I will check out this book soon! It seems like you guys really liked it! :)"oh my gosh, this one is SOOO good!!!
Tori wrote: "I think I will check out this book soon! It seems like you guys really liked it! :)"That's my plan as well:D
Gisbelle wrote: "Yes, like in Almost, right? That'd be great. Corey is so sweet. I want to hug him and squeeze him to death XD"ugh, I LOVE corey. what an amazing amazing guy that one is.
I almost screamed at the book when Tate had her cornered in the pantry or basement or whatever...and then BOOM! there was Corey.
and that story he told.... about the birds, french fries... *sigh* Every girl deserves a Corey!!! :D
Sounds like just my kind of book. :)
I sighed so many times. Ooh I need a Corey in my life lol... One thing I really love about this book was that the main characters were not perfect. Like some books, MC are flawless and I really hate that. Why can't people with weight problem, people who are not so pretty be the main characters? The flaws make them perfect in my opinion :)
I totally agree!!! She wasn't the typical goody goody girl. She was a cheerleader but not the little one they throw around. And she wasn't the most popular girl or the 4.0 type girl either. She was just right down the middle. And I like that she didn't just grovel in front of her friends even when they kind of groveled... I like that she stood up for herself!!
I hate that she hit Corey, though I thought that totally fit with the story - push him away so hard he wouldn't come back. But *sigh* I love that he did...
and as hard as it was, I'm so glad her friends broke their promise and told their secret to her mom. so necessary when she went missing for a short time....
Indeed. I think books help people more when they are about average people. If books are always about "beautiful" people with 4.0 GPA, they will make readers feel bad about themselves. At least, that's what I feel :DYes, I loved that she matched up and told them what she thought of them. Like after the blog was up. And the cat fight. Hilarious! I didn't see that coming :)
I couldn't believe she hit Corey either. He had been nothing, but sweet to her. When he cooked for her, boy, I was a goner!
I'm glad she had such good friends too :D I love happy ending! You have no idea how scared I felt during that pregnancy test scene.
amen!! I was so scared at the Pregnancy test part too!!! EEEK! I'm so glad the book didn't go there. That would have REALLY changed the whole mood of it!oh!! when he cooked for her!!! So sweet! and then the darkout and the lights! ugh, just an amazing present. He was so so sweet.
:D such a great book!
