Christine Rice (christine_rice) | 33 comments Book Blogs has a lot of book reviewers that are willing to write a review for a free copy of the book. They mostly post the reviews on their blog, but you could ask if they would also post them on Amazon.

Bloggerdise is a website to advertise your book for giveaways, free book copies for reviews, etc. The reviewers will contact you by email and you can tell them where you want the review posted.

World Literary Cafe is a community for writers and readers. Check out the "author" tab for opportunities to gain reviewers.

Posting on your blog and social media sites (including Goodreads - you can create events and post in various groups like you've done here) might help. You just need to be persistent and persuasive.

Good luck!

John Oehler | 1 comments Patience. In the run-up to Christmas, most people are focussed on family, decorating, and big-ticket gifts. Low-priced gifts like books often are bought in the final days. Wait a month, then gently prod your contacts again, using a bit of "news" about your book as your excuse for writing to them.

You can also ask them to click on "I found this review helpful" and to add tags to your page that will help attract readers of other authors.
