Alias Reader (aliasreader) | 29397 comments Amy I read the GR reviews and the Amazon reviews. I always read the one star reviews. I find them very helpful.

Thanks, Sum. I do have an abandoned shelf. The discussion/debate revolved around my rating the books I had abandoned. My opponents (lack of a better word) hold the book should not be rated if I did not complete it. They are absolutely right. My OCD however....if you give me stars to rate then I have to rate them. I will try very hard in the future to restrain myself from use of stars. On the other hand, I find that while the number of stars can be increased or decreased, they can not be completely removed. thus my comment about an abandoned star or permit that the stars can be totally removed.

Good use of Goodreads, Amy. I'll have to remember to do that. I primarily look at what GR has to say about a book to see how long it is. Yes, i am THAT person. It's not that i don't look at the writeup, though, and even reviews. Afterall, we are the people i trust when it comes to books.

Neat tribe with which to be a part, Carol. Do you or your tribe do anything special with/on that holiday? Have you seen the jewelry made to declare tribal quantity? http://shop.beyondbuckskin.com/produc... I like the look but think the way they number could be confusing. The point is probably to get folks to ask, though.

It's been asked for a million times, but GR says it has no plans to change. :(

I would love the star system to allow 2 extra options.
A negative rating and also a Did Not Finish rating.

In my book jnl I rate 0-5 Zero being my negative vote.

Cool earrings, haven't worn any over the years so my holes have closed up. Wampanoags do not celebrate Thanksgiving, it is considered a time of mourning.
