Shelby (shelbaroonian) Hey y'all! I'm new, but you probably already guessed that, you genius you. I'm super excited to find a group of people that love books, and such varying genres as this group discusses. I love to learn, and school has gotten in the way recently of reading books of my own choice, but, hey, reading is reading, right? I'm still trying to figure out what kind of books I like and, as much of an ego-smasher as it is to admit this, I'm not the intellectual read-Herman-Melville-because-I-want-to-and-not-fall-asleep kind of person. Perhaps I will develope a sturdier attention span throughout my GoodReads adventures. Let us hope.

Shelby, the great thing about this group is: as long as you love to read, you are welcomed! We dont care what your tastes are... the more they differ from ours the better, that means tons of new books for us to share :)

Ditto. I'm glad I'm not the only one who isn't an "intellectual"-type reader. Herman Melville? Blegh... no thanks!

Sara! For the Spring Challenge, we had to go to the list of group members and pick two books that got 5 stars from someone on the same page as us, and you were the person whose books I chose from. I'm totally reading Tennis Shoes Among the Nephites for the challenge. Thanks for the reminder to read that!
