[Kayleigh]

Ivy walks next to him as they leave the bar, "So, what was that about? between Kol and you?" She asks.

[B.L.]

Merlin looks over at Ivy, 'two years ago my mum brought him back from Ireland, he's dangerous, my mother thinks he's amazing and just needed some help but he just drives me mad, he was in a care home and gang, then in bloody prison, i dont trust him' says Merlin in a rush, the anger in his voice still.

[Kayleigh]

"Okay..." Ivy drawls slowly, "I didn't know he went to jail, do you know what for?"

[B.L.]

Merlin shakes his head 'My mum wouldn't say, i assume it's bad if she doesnt want me to know, but like i said he was in a gang so whatever they do i guess, someone got hurt whatever it was i know that' he says to Ivy.

[Kayleigh]

"Sounds serious..."Ivy said thinking of the times she had gotten in trouble with the law. "Is another reason you don't like him because he has a thing for belle and so do you?"

[B.L.]

Merlin starts, he looks over at Ivy and shakes his head, 'Belle's a nice girl Ivy, i used to have a thing for her, but i dont anymore, not that way, but i still dont think Kol should go after her, he's not safe or good enough, simple as' says Merlin.

"I don't know Kol personally so I can't agree or disagree with you." Ivy tells him as they walk to the beach. "Maybe you should go talk to Belle, that might help you with whatever you're feeling.'

[B.L.]

'I did tell Belle to keep away from him, but i can't control her, and Kol is that type...well i guess, im not a girl so i wouldnt really know' says Merlin thoughtfully.

[Kayleigh]

"Type? You mean the tall, dark and mysterious type?" Ivy asks smirking. "What did Belle say when you talked to her?"

[B.L.]

'She told me she would make up her own mind, im just worried it will be too late by then, it doesnt even make sense, Kol's never shown any interest in girls before, not really, at least not in the serious relationship type way, i mean there have been...college girls, but no one who he'll see all the time you know' says Merlin.

"Maybe you should just trust Belle and her choice to trust Kol..." Ivy says, she didn't even know why she was giving relationship advise, her romantic life was a little shady.

Merlin nods, 'maybe, but i still cant trust Kol' he says, 'so anyway, what about your love life, you said it was bad before?' Merlin asks genuinely interested.

Ivy stiffens at his question. She hadn't told anyone about it. Her father didn't even know. Her face pales as she things about the incident.

Merlin can tell she is uncomfortable and he says 'Its ok you dont have to tell me Ivy if you dont want to', he smiles at her in understanding.

[Kayleigh]

"I haven't told anyone...." Ivy mumbles. In all honestly, she was sick of keeping it to herself.

Brayden had walked silently back into the bar, hiding behind the counter. He waited anxiously for her to answer.

Merlin stops Ivy by touching her arm lightly, 'you can tell me anything Ivy, i promise you i won't tell anyone or judge you' he says honestly.

Ivy takes a shuttering breath in a and runs a shaking hand threw her hair, "A couple months ago, at one of the parties on the beach, I was hanging out with a couple college guys and we all got a little drunk and they said they wanted to go on a walk down the shoreline, so I said sure.." She explains quietly, "And once we got away from sight of the party, they grabbed me and pushed me to the sand. One held my arms above my head and two held down my legs." She closed her eyes from the memory, "I kicked and fought my way out of their grasps and ran back down the beach as fast as I could. I don't even want to think about what would of happened it I didn't get free..." Talking about her attempt of rape was something she never did. Silent tears started to fall from her eyes

Merlin pulls Ivy into his arms gently, she is still crying, Merlin strokes her hair softly but says nothing sensing that she didn't want advice or even kind words, he just held her protectively.

[Kayleigh]

"I'm sorry, I don't know why I told you that..." Ivy says into his chest.

[B.L.]

Merlin holds her close and then pulls back slightly to look into her beautiful sad face 'sometimes we need to say things out loud to be able to let them go' says Merlin kindly.

she nods silently and wipes at her tears, "I'm still sorry..."

'don't ever be sorry' it's not your fault at all' says Merlim strongly, he touché her face lightly and looks intently into her eyes.

"Well now you know why my love life is so bad." ivy said

'yeah i get it Ivy, but it's not your fault' says Merlin pulling her tight against him again.

"i'm the one who got drunk and went with them." Ivy mumbles.

Brayden clenched his fists. He slowly crawled out behind the counter to avoid their gaze. He went outside to the bar's ally and lit a cigarette.

[B.L.]

Ever walls over to the boy and says, 'you got any extras', she smiles and her dark blue eyes light up with danger.

Merlin pulls her away from him and says fiercely 'no way Ivy, those arseholes are to blame completely not you, not ever'.

Ivy sees Brayden sneak out behind the counter and walk outside. She frowns, what if he tell someone? She quickly follows him out there, hoping that Merlin would follow, "Brayden I know you heard what I said, you can't tell anyone." She pleads

[Ayn]

Brayden looked up at the girl as he lit his cigarette. Inhaling, he reached in his back pocket to grab one for her. He handed her one and offered his Zippo to light it for her.

Ever takes the cigarette and inhales deepily, she blows the smoke out of her mouth and says 'Thanks...who the hell are you?' she smirks looking intently at Brayden.

Brayden ignores Ivy and Merlin to inhale his smoke, then exhaling a white puff.He replies to the stranger while eyeing her," Brayden, and you are?"

'Ever, my name is Ever, thanks for the smoke Den' says Ever, her smirk gets wider and she takes another drag from her cigarette.

"Your welcome.. Ever." His eyes traveled the length of her body before reaching her eyes again.
