Belle sat in her little armchair in the corner of the shop, though she couldn't quite focus.

Kol walks past the bookstore as he goes over to the bar, he see's Belle throught the window, he wants to go over to her, forget work, but he can't do that, he thought maybe he should have asked her to come to work with him, so they could talk more.

Ever walks into the bookstore looking for Belle.

Belle glanced up dreamily until her eyes focused on Ever. "Hey, Ev!" she said excitedly.

Ever grins and rushes over to her best mate. Ever pulls Belle into a tight hug and then lets go, 'Hellooo beautiful, you alright? whats that look on your face' Ever says with a wink.

"I ran into the bitch after I took an accidental swim," Belle said, screwing up her face. There was no need for clarification on 'that bitch'.

[B.L.]

Ever screws up her face and says 'ugghh, i hate that girl, we should do something about her, throw her in the sea, bet you anything little miss perfect nails can't swim' Ever smirks.

[Halle]

Belle smiled. "I was thinking more 'mysterious disappearance', ya know?" Belle said, only half-kidding.

Ever laughs 'yeah we'll work on that, so what happened after the falling over bit and the bitch fiasco?' asks Ever.

[Halle]

Belle's cheeks colored. "Um," she stalled. "Kol helped me get my camera and other things," she replied vaguely.

'Kol?' Ever raises an eyebrow 'the irish bloke in the leather jacket?' she says.

Belle twisted her neck to glance back at said jacket on the arm chair. "That's the one," she agreed.

Ever follows Belle's gaze and grins 'he gave you the jacket, ooohhh lucky Bel's got herself a mysterious man, he's pretty gorgeous Bel's, in the tall dark and back the hell off kind of way' Ever laughs 'didn't think he'd be your type though' muses Ever.

[Halle]

Belle laughed. "I didn't think so either," she admitted.

'so go on then give me the gory details' says Ever excitedly jumping up and down on the balls of her feet.

Belle smiled. She launched into the story. "Okay, so I was at the beach, right," she started. "And I was trying to take this picture, when I fell in the water. You know I can't swim, so I was freaking out, and he helped me up."

[B.L.]

'So chivalry isn't dead, good to know that all i have to do is drown to get a bloke' jokes Ever with smirk 'go on then...'

"Well then dearest Anna showed up with her group, all of them dressed like prostitutes mind you, and she started talking to Kol about how babyish and clumsy I am," Belle said, wrinkling her nose. "But he totally ignored her, so she left. And then he kissed me before leaving for work!" she finished, blushing.

'Ignored her, liking this bloke already, and he KISSED you, woah...' Ever's smile gets impossibly wide, 'so...did you like it or what?' asks Ever, she leans over the counter.

Belle felt herself turn impossibly red. "Ever!" she exclaimed. She chewed on her lip. "But yeah. I did."

Ever jumps up and down madly and practically shouts 'ahhhh hell yeah you did, nice one little Bellarina'

Belle sent out a silent 'thank you' that the was closed already. She laughed as she said, "Ev, calm down." She ran her finger down the spine of a book. "It doesn't mean anything, really. He could not like me like that."

[B.L.]

Ever frowns, 'well why wouldnt he your beautiful and smart and amazing Bells, dont doubt yourself, if i swing that way id be all over you' Ever winks at Belle, 'what was he like around you, did he seem like he just wanted inside your pants or what?' says Ever.

[Halle]

Belle thought back. "He looked at me a lot," she said. "But in a sweet way, not creepy."

[B.L.]

'Good good, not creepy, and what do you mean by LOOKED at you, like he didnt know wht to say ind of way?, is he a gorgeous moron, because i've been with a few of those' muses Ever.

[Halle]

"More like he was thinking of something. Or remembering," she said. Belle shook her head. "That sounds stupid."

[B.L.]

'It's not stupid, thinking in a bad way do you mean?' asks Ever seemingly confused.

Belle sighed frustratedly. "I dunno!" she said. "You're supposed to tell me, Ev. I'm clueless." She sat down dramatically.

'Well, it sounds like he likes you, did he say anything else, are you seeing him again?' asks Ever, her excitment still showing.

[Halle]

Belle felt something in her chest constrict. "He said he'd meet me at Merlin's party." She smiled and said, "He called me 'luv,' I think."

[B.L.]

'ohhh he's from Ireland isnt he, thats probably a thing they say, and wow, Merlins party, isnt Merlin his step brother or something?' says Ever.

[Halle]

Belle nodded. "Foster brother, I think," she said. "Though they don't appear very close."

[B.L.]

'what makes you say that?' aks Ever as she jumps up to sit on the counter, she crosses her net tight clad long legs.

[Halle]

"Merlin told me to keep away from Kol," Belle said. "That Kol was dangerous and trouble."

[B.L.]

'ah right, but what do you think, I mean I've heard stuff but it could all be a load of crap' says Ever.

[Halle]

Belle shrugged. "I dunno," she said. "It does seem entirely possible he's been to jail."

[B.L.]

Ever almost falls off the counter, 'shit! really?, what the hell for?' says Ever, her eyes wide.

Belle shrugged. "He's just got that vibe, ya know?" she said. "Like he used to be that way, but isn't anymore."

Ever looks at Belle, never one to be judgemental, 'ok Bells, but be careful yeah, i dont want you hurt' she says.

Belle nodded. It was clear she was definitely the clueless one. "Gotcha, Ev," she said.

Ever smiles widely and says, 'so...me and Wes broke up'.

Belle wrinkled her nose, causing her freckles to appear to fold in on themselves. "Good," Belle said. "He was awful."

Ever laughs loudly, 'I know, we got into ANOTHER fight, so i told him to piss off, and he did, so here we are' Ever says.

[Halle]

"And you haven't hooked another guy yet?" Belle asked.

[B.L.]

Ever looks away then rolls he eyes back and forth. 'hhhmmm well, there was one, but it was just a bit of fun' she says.
