Actors playing characters' younger selves

Well this has certainly been an interesting year for actors portraying characters' younger counterparts in sci-fi/fantasy films. First we have Josh Brolin playing a younger Tommy Lee Jones in MIB 3, then Joseph Gordon-Levitt playing a younger Bruce Willis in Looper. And now Martin Freeman as a younger Ian Holm in The Hobbit. Tough call as to who was the best. I'm leaning towards Josh Brolin because his voice was so eerily similar to Tommy Lee Jones'. But the other two had the ticks and mannerisms of their older versions down pat. Who do you think did the best?
