So I have been told that Tris and Caleb are close in age, like 9 months close. Do you agree or are they twins?

I don't think they're twins. I feel like that if they were twins Veronica Roth would have specifically mentioned it. I also think that she did mention that they were 10 or so months apart but I don't know for sure.

If Tris and Caleb are less than a year apart/ born in the same year, then they are Irish twins, which are siblings born in the same year however not in the same day or month. Also, in Insurgent, Tris is often referred to as Caleb's little sister.
