New to Writing

I am new to writing and am very very amateur. I want to start writing a book- I already have a plot in mind- but I need help. Does anyone have tips and things to look out for when first writing? (I'm only fourteen, so I am truly very amateur)

The best couple things I can tell you. Is when you are writing just write. Don't try and mix the writing process and the editing process and the revision process. Then when you edit edit. Also always remember the first drafts always suck. That's why they get edited, and revised and rewrited and edited again. Just keep at it. I can't wait to read your first book.
