Read one book (fiction or non-fiction) set in each of the following areas:

North America
South/Central America or the Caribbean
Western Europe
Eastern Europe
The Middle East or North Africa
Africa (Sub-Saharan or North if you used the Middle East above)
East Asia (Indian Sub-Continent)
Asia or Southeast Asia
Australia/Oceania

For an extra challenge add a book set in Antarctica, Greenland, Iceland, the Arctic Circle or anywhere else I forgot to give it's own category.

Challenge Variation: Read a book by an author from each of these places (thanks Teri!).

Post here with your TBR Lists and progress updates. Good Luck and happy reading :)

Geeta | 1 comments Do poetry anthologies count? Also, for Caribbean authors: Samuel Selvon, V.S Naipaul, Michael Anthony are some authors you might want to look at. I can post others, only thing is the books may not be available for kindle.

Sure! Anthologies are fine, as are DTBs and audio books.
