Can't combine duplicate books

I'm a new librarian and although I've read the manual sections on combining and seperating editions, I can't work out how to fix this problem. Could someone please walk me through it? There is a duplicate record: the same book with the same ISBN is entered twice with slight variations (in one version the subtitle is included with the title and the author's last name is hyphenated in one record and not the other). One record has many reviews and ratings, while the other has only one. I have tried to combine them, but clicking "combine" only gives me one book in the list. Not sure how to fix this.

This right here is the problem. Books need to have exactly the same author before they are able to be combined. I've merged the author profiles, so you can go ahead and combine them
