Saphirablue | 58 comments Hi,

the book "Grave Peril" is listed with 378 pages and, well, I'm currently on page 434. It has 439 pages in total.

ISBN: 9780451458445

Thank you very much! :)

Some of Jim Butcher's books have reprints or other releases with the same ISBN, but differing page numbers. If you do have the same ISBN, I'll create an alternate "cover" edition, with the new page count. I'm seeing this problem with many of his books.

There must be multiple printings with that ISBN, because it has been flipped between 378 and 436 a couple times before. But 378 is what WorldCat has, and several users have attested they have editions of this ISBN with that many pages, so it should not be changed again.

Another edition can be added, or there is one edition of the book with 439 pages: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/81...

Saphirablue | 58 comments I've typed the ISBN directly from the inside cover of the book so I assume that it's the correct one.

If it doesn't make too much trouble - could another edition be added? I'm quite "picky" that my books have the same ISBN here as they have in "real". If that's not possible - no problem! :)

We can add another edition, as we would with an alternate cover, but keep in mind that the ISBN field will have to be left blank, and can only be entered in the description field.

Are all the publication details other than the page number the same as this edition, or is it closer to the alternate-cover edition for the same ISBN?

Saphirablue | 58 comments Um, I can't find a difference between the two editions you linked? *scratches head*

Anyways, it sounds as if it is a lot of trouble to do this and I rather have the correct ISBN than the correct page count.

So, Thank you! and Sorry! for being a pain!

It may be only the cover that's different. I didn't look too closely.

But I totally get wanting to have the correct ISBN shelved.
