How do you prefer to read: e-reader, tablet or hardcover?

I bought a Kobo but I think I'm going to upgrade to a Kindle for Xmas."
It sounds like you like to read a lot, Renee. Do you take your e-reader with you when you travel?

With that being said......I love hardcover books. I love the way they feel in my hands. I love just holding them. I even love the way they smell. Call me weird, but I need a real book in my hands once in a while.

Yes, I make notes in the margin and not only that I highlight key points that I like. My paperbacks looks like my Bible. Full of notes and highlighted to the maximum with scraps of paper stuck between the pages.

But if a car breaks down there are people who can and have horse and buggy's to ride in and do not have to worry about gas. That is why I say do not forget the old ways that are beneficial. If you are a cashier and depend on the cash register to tell you how much change to give a customer and the power goes out you are in a lot of trouble if you cannot count in your head and will certainly loose sales.
Remember the foundation even when new things are developed and you will still prosper and get ahead.

I like your answer: although I answered hard cover; I use both.

But I still love curling up with a good book.
I use my Kindle alot more tho. I find its cheaper, but if I really love a book, I want to own the actual thing to keep on my shelf.
My Kindle is much more convenient, it slips right into my purse and I have with me, several books, and even games.

A friend on another group said that she "bought" a membership to a library in another city in order to download more books as well as in her own town.
Made me laugh because who would have thought there would be a "fiddle scam" for reading.

I do not like the fact that the battery runs out while reading.
