Konstantinos Adamopoulos (konstantinosadamopoulos) | 7 comments I think that eBooks have the advantage! You can have thousands on a e-reader and take them all with you, you can increase the letters and do whatever you want with the text, they are much cheaper and they don't use paper to make them. On the other hand paperback has its own magic!

message 557: by Paul (new)

Paul Rushworth-Brown | 12 comments As an author, I have stopped marketing the paper version. I believe e-books are safer and cheaper for the reader.
Embark on a thrilling journey through the bustling streets of Leeds in the 18th century with young Robert Rushworth and John Rushworth. As they stumble upon a life-changing opportunity on Briggate, they find themselves entangled in a web of danger orchestrated by the menacing brogger, Jacob Wilding. With Smythe, the enigmatic tavern keeper, holding secrets that could change everything, Robert's fate takes an unexpected turn when he's sent to The Haven to meet Captain Girlington of 'The Pearl.' Will Robert elude the clutches of Wilding and escape in time? Will love triumph over adversity for Robert and Ursula, or will their dreams unravel in the face of impending danger? Join this gripping tale of fortune, pursuit, and hidden pasts that keeps you on the edge of your seat. That's a lot of adventure, romance, mystery and history for A$8 😘📖💓 https://amzn.to/3G2JNoo

Jennifer ~ PlanAgainJen (planagainjen) I listen to Audio these days because I struggle finding the time to sit and read. I am always doing something as I read. Otherwise, a physical book. I’ve actually never tried an e-reader.

message 560: by Louann (new)

Louann Sorrells (louannsorrells) | 2 comments I do all but I totally prefer an actual book

message 561: by Kyiakhalid (new)

Kyiakhalid Ruiz | 7 comments E-reader, but I get why people are still clinging to the nostalgia of paper. I love the convenience of carrying all my titles with me, plus the ability to annotate and highlight. Different strokes for different folks.

message 562: by Dione (new)

Dione Hanke | 2 comments My favorites are audiobooks or ebooks on the kindle app on my iPad. That way I can have both the audiobooks or ebooks with me when I travel or just in a line at the drive thru. I also like listening when I am in the car or busy and then reading the ebook before I go to sleep.

message 563: by Julie (new)

Julie Simmons | 3 comments I don't do e-reader or tablet. I'm a old-fashioned girl. I like hardcovers or paperbacks.

message 564: by Jensue (new)

Jensue Ferrell | 2 comments hardcover

Meekilovesbooks | 40 comments All of them.

message 566: by EstephBooks (new)

EstephBooks I prefer e-reader! It's convenient, lightweight, helps me carry around thousands of books in one little device, can read with any kind of lightning, and doesn't hurt my eyes if I read for too long.

Sameer Rajakumar | 98 comments I do all la formats

message 568: by Gabriela (new)

Gabriela Tijerina (igabyt) | 3 comments e-reader.

message 569: by [deleted user] (new)

I prefer holding the actual book in my hands and reading it, but hey - life is crazy and some books are fine on audio and some on kindle! Honestly, I feel like listening to the audio isn't "reading" though!

Meekilovesbooks | 40 comments E-reader, but if the book cover is stunning, I'll buy a physical copy, and if it's lengthy, I'll buy the audio copy.

message 573: by Hamilton (new)

Hamilton Hill | 3 comments Although I have an Ereader (purchased years ago) I've only read a paragraph before dumping it. Paperback or Hardcover is the only way to for me.

message 575: by Jareer (new)

Jareer Ahmed | 4 comments A hardcover for sure!

message 576: by Beth Foster (new)

Beth Foster | 1 comments E-reader or audiobook appeals to my environmental side (and the fact I move every 3-4 years). Also like that I can read at night with no lights on or listen when I'm doing mundane things like driving or walking the dog. But I will get hardcover from library when other formats aren't available and will buy a book if I want to refer to it in the future (usually non-fiction).

message 577: by Patricia (new)

Patricia Holland | 2 comments I like to have the book to hold and browse through as I audio read it. I go back through the hard copy over parts I especially enjoyed or didn't understand. Then I have the book on my bookshelf to remember as I glance through them all. A book last forever for me.

message 578: by K.S. (new)

K.S. Benjamin (ksbenjaminpublishing) | 3 comments I prefer to read hardcover. I love the feeling of holding and reading a real book. Reading a hardcover makes me feeling more relax and engaging. You can truly feel the uniqueness in different books when you read a hardcover =)

message 579: by Erica (new)

Erica Lynne (divacanread) | 2 comments I prefer a real book. I use my local library (I am there all the time) and would rather pick up a book. However, when I finish something and forgot to get a back up, the E-Reader comes in very handy!

message 586: by Judy (new)

Judy Kelly | 3 comments I enjoy reading paperbacks or hard covers only. It is not "old fashion" as someone said. It's a matter of personal preference. Many times I have to go back several pages when the story does not keep my attention. I find it easier to do that with a paper back or hard cover book rather than trying to "flip" back with an ebook, etc. Also, for those who have trouble with the light while reading an ebook, we are relieved of that when reading an actual book. Lastly, a person took about a year to write the book for your enjoyment. They went through several rewrites, spent several weeks and months editing the book, paid a hefty amount for a professional to edit the book and took the time to bring you a good story. Why not honor that by purchasing the "real" book?

message 587: by Brian (new)

Brian McGovern | 1 comments I didn't see a choice but I prefer paperback. While newspapers are becoming a thing of the past, books will never be obsolete and it becomes a part of your own personal library.

Dr. Jasmine | 15 comments Paper please! hard back or paper back, I don't mind that much.. and second hand if possible. I like to feel that book is pre-loved, and fingertips stains or an occasional crumb of chocolate all add to the book's life journey :o))
