Kath Middleton | 23860 comments I voted for Lady Penelope - it made me laugh out loud! I wrote Trimming the Tree - joint third sounds better if I don't mention how many people I shared the position with!

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments As Jud's not around today (she said she's going home today, didn't she?) it'd be great if the authors would tell us who wrote which one, please.

D.M. Andrews (author) Andrews (dmandrews) | 1551 comments Ignite, impress me and guess which one was mine again :)

Mine was 'The price of love'

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments No idea DM. When the woman with whom I lived for 18 years (daughter Jenny!) enters I can never guess which is hers!

You'll have to 'fess up!

memo for Simon: Next time vote for yourself to ensure at least 1 vote

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments You'd think he'd be clever enough to think of that on his own, wouldn't you?

message 66: by D.M. Andrews (author) (last edited Dec 20, 2012 03:33AM) (new)

D.M. Andrews (author) Andrews (dmandrews) | 1551 comments I voted for Contact. I thought it used the stated words naturally and cleverly, and flowed well.

Ignite, you guessed last time and said you could tell my writing style ;)

Mine was "A Dwarf Like No Other", with a title shamelessly inspired by a title of the other Darren, and a story based on the ongoing contest between Gimli and Legolas in LOTR (in case anyone didn't realise).

Wonderful Nicola!

message 68: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Actually Darren, I read that twice and thought it was yours. Then I thought, Nah!
Should have gone with my convictions!

message 69: by Andrew (new)

Andrew Barrett | 1537 comments Mine was Lady Penelope.

I wrote the body of the story hoping something would come along and surprise me. Into my head popped an interview with the weather girl Sian Lloyd in which she asked the interviewer for a shag. 'That'll do nicely' thought I, hehe.

There were some lovely tales though, enjoyed it very much :)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments I voted for yours Darren!

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Mine was Eine Kleine Nachtsmusick. One whole vote!

"Pure originality...highly entertaining read" (Reviewer, The Super Spud Trilogy by Michael Diack). http://www.amazon.com/The-Super-Spud-... @Superspud_book

hmmm...I've forgotten how to switch off the html for http text...

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments See, you've forgotten what most of us never knew - brain the size of a planet!

D.M. Andrews (author) Andrews (dmandrews) | 1551 comments I've tried the blockquote, pre and code tags. None of them have the desired effect :(

Anyone familiar with how to do it?
