Miku walks into the library, and went to the spells book section.

[Mike]

Having soaked himself in sweat from running all over the bridge for an hour, Gearson heads to the cool emptiness of the library, a building that seems ridiculously over-sized for a town of about fifteen people and a bunch of half-angels and werewolves. Pondering his situation, he searches the vast halls for a book that contains knowledge he might not have.

"what are you looking for?" Lacey walks up and says.

[Kimiko]

She scan the book shelf, "They dont have it?" she mumbles to herself.

[brennabee]

Lacy walks up to the girl. "what are you looking for?"

[Kimiko]

Miku looks up, and shakes her head, "oh um some ancient spell book"

[brennabee]

"Spells? are you a witch or something?" Lacey laughs

[brennabee]

"are you talking to me?"

[Kimiko]

Miku nods.

"Wait really...i wasnt serious.."

[Kimiko]

Miku stares at her, "yeah. im a witch" she repeated.

[brennabee]

"Cool. i guess ill spill my secret too.Im a werewolf."

[Kimiko]

Miku nods, "werewolfs are cool"

[brennabee]

"thanks. it has its perks but also some bad things. 1. because of my sense of smell i can smell everything. everything. some people smell bad."

[Kimiko]

Miku laughed, "cool"

[Mike]

"I also have a secret", Gearson muttered as he rose up from his seat. He walked over to the two girls and put his head a little too close between them, his eyes going in opposite directions so that each eye looked at each person. He smiled wide and foamed at the mouth.

"I'm just a human."

[Kimiko]

Miku's eyes widen in surprise, "omg really?"

[Mike]

"Weird, isn't it? With every witch, warlock, angel, half-angel, and creepy, half-animal devil monster running around, I also think it's odd that there's a guy here with no distinguishing features to speak of."

[brennabee]

Lacey laughs. "Oh and your a funny human.Im half-human." Lacey smiles and doesnt move her head away from his.

((This might be a bit awkaward do you think you character should be like 20 instead of 27? thats only if you want im just suggesting))

[Mike]

(There are people on here claiming to be 200 and 300. I'm here to add a willing suspicion of disbelief to a world inhabited ENTIRELY by people between the ages of 16 and 21. You guys need an adult.)

[Mike]

(And to get super-technical, in the time this is likely set, a lot of 14-year-old girls were married off to wealthy 35-year-olds for the purpose of having children. Gross, but factual.)

Thorn walks in."there you are! Thorn yells glancing at the boy. "what were you yelling about out there?"

[Mike]

He turns his head to her, eyes heavy from restlessness and face rattled with unhygienic sauciness. "I'm simply garnering attention to the fact that we need to go on a quest. I don't know why. It just feels like a very 'questy' sort of week/month/year to me."

[brennabee]

"What kind of 'quest' do you mean?" Thorn says to the man."by the way what is your name? Im Thorn." Lacey then gets up and walks away, seeing that the man has lost intrest in her.

[Mike]

"Don't you go anywhere young lady!" he snaps, grabbing her by the back of her shirt without turning his head from the other girl. His voice returns to a still calm as he goes on. "To answer your question, I don't know what kind of quest. I just feel like I should be doing something constructive, something inventive, and I don't feel like I'll be finding it by sitting around here all day."

[Mike]

"And I'm Gearson," he finishes. "But call me Gere."

[brennabee]

"Well then Gere, hello. By the way i am neither human nor were. I am a vampire. and i think i get what you are saying." thorn says.

"Excuse me?" Lacey retorts. Lacey smacks his hand, but he holds tight. "what do you want?"

[Mike]

His head zips around to stare at Lacey. "I'm going to send you an a magical quest, if you'd like!" It jolts to the other girl. "And how can you not be a human, but be a vampire? Don't you have to be a person bitten by a vampire to become one?"

[Kimiko]

Miku was to busy scanning the bookshelves on spells to listen wat they were talking about, she didnt even notice when a new person walked in.

[Mike]

The guy, however, does notice, and he turns to the door to see who it is.

[brennabee]

"Let me go, i dont want to go on a magical quest!" Lacey yells. But even being a werewolf, his grip is to strong for her."What do you even mean?"

"Ok, I WAS human but im a vampire now.Im a monster."Thorn says. "now let the poor girl go!"

[brennabee]

((Just so you know, you are the new person hat Miku was talking about.))

[brennabee]

"whats your deal!"Lacey screams at the man.

[Kimiko]

Miku looks up at the sound of screaming, "wha?" she said. she cleared her throat, "what happened?"

[brennabee]

"GERE WHAT DO YOU WANT WHAT KIND OF FREAKING QUEST ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!" Lacey screamed again. The man still held her shirt tight she wrigled form his grasp but couldnt get away.

[brennabee]

((MIke are you still there?))

[brennabee]

Since he wouldnt move, Thorn threw a hard well aimed punch to his face. His nose started to bleed, but his grasp woukdnt loosen on Lacey.

[Kimiko]

"want me to help?" Miku asked tilting her head and pointing a finger at the man ((wats his name?))

[brennabee]

((Gearson but call him Gere))Lacey mouthed the word 'help'

[Mike]

"Gwargh! And I am back from the nether realms!" he exclaims, feeling that his face has been struck. He releases Lacey, then tells them a long story that ends with him needing a boatload of materials for some invention.

[Mike]

"And sorry about that. When I need to go looking for something, I slip into my own personal nether realm and by body just kind of 'sticks around'."

[brennabee]

Lacey runs off. And leaves with Miku before he can grab her again.

"So you want me to go on a quest for some materials?!"

[brennabee]

Thorn says.

[Kimiko]

"Whats the invention gonna be?" Miku asks.

[Mike]

"Yes. Yes, I do." He turns to the other girl. "You cannot know what the invention is because I don't know what the invention is. You're going to have to do some travelling, though. You and several others- a fellowship, if you will.

[Kimiko]

"wait up" Miku yells at Lacey

[brennabee]

"Well where do you want me to go? Will you be with me? and why would you trust ME? What materials do you need?" Thorn asks.

Regardless of Mikus calls, Lacey is already gone.
