Say, have any of you guys heard of a play called Smith? It's got something to do with the army or something I think, but I was wondering if any of you knew the plot

Ah, okay! Nice! :) So, auditions for our musical were today...I'm Assistant Stage Managing!!! So excited!

@Ruth: My parents and I are having family at oyur house.
Good night!

I'm just hanging out with the fam :) OMG we made the most amazing sweet potato casserole ever omg.

Awesome!!! Oh, yes, I'm all Speech (we're actually doing PF in class right now and I almost cried during CX :P). The season's been kind of up and down...mostly ALMOST breaking, but never quite enough, although I placed 5th at the last tournament in HI, and I've dabbled in Storytelling. Keep me updated. :)

I think so...it's team debate as well. The structure is:
4 minute constructive

CX
Rebuttal (I think that's the correct term?)

Grand Crossfire

Ugh, I know!!!!!!! Usually, it's a matter of Speaker Points.
Usually it is...unless you do Duo Interp, which is a partner event where you act 10 minutes without making eye contact with or touching your partner. Look them up on YouTube. And Humorous Interp or HI, my event (start with Lindsey White :) ).

Congrats! :)
Congrats! :)
Very true...but Nationals pieces...*dramatic sigh* they're wonderful!!! Perhaps not the quality that most local tournaments compete on, but they're what everyone aspires to be.
Grand crossfire is when all of the debaters get a chance to ask/answer questions at once, rather than one debater from each team.
Speaker points can be the devil can't they? :)
