I had an audition today...aaaand I accidentally said the name of the Scottish play...on stage. Nerves can do that to you. :P

Yeah, it ended up going pretty well. After I "undid the curse," the director had me try a couple things, and I think it went well. Just waiting to hear about callbacks now...

Awww, it's okay. You can bring it up! And my state actually doesn't regularly do Policy, so I won't really be that much help, but check the NFL (now NSDA) website. I think they have some forums for different things like that (at least, they have HI forums). And don't be scared. You'll be great!

Update on the play: I'm playing Caliban from The Tempest. An actual monster...but I'm really excited!!

And one more thing...I GOT MY BRACES OFF TODAY!!!!!!!

Most states have their own forensic league also, so you may/may not be a part of the NFL as well. I don't know. I want to say that Iowa may be different than most...I could be wrong though.

Really??? I'm excited, but I haven't read The Tempest yet...although I'm thinking that Caliban may actually be a guy, even though my director said "the gender's never revealed." But I MUST read it...and soon!

Hopefully it'll be really soon. It was a total surprise for me...I'd even talked to the hygienist about what color to change it too and then my orthodontist just decided that they were ready to come off.

Oh, absolutely! I haven't read the Scottish play yet, but I will next year I think. I've read Romeo and Juliet and The Merchant of Venice. Not sure what I'll read this year.

A little less than 29 months. And yes, although only constantly for a week. After that, I can switch to just at night.

They're a little sore when I take the retainer out, and my gums are extremely swollen and sore and were pretty awful-looking, but my mouth's getting adjusted. They'll be okay in a few more days.
