Travis (travistousant) I thought it would be nice to have a place to list a poem or short story that has been inspirational. These are longer than a quote, but shorter than a book. Rather than type it all out just list the title and author.

Rudyard Kipling the poem "If"

Travis (travistousant) For a moving speech youtube jimmy v at ESPY awards. Jimmy V was a coach at Rutgers and later NC State as he was dying from cancer he found the strength to go and speak at the ESPY awards. Gives a lot to think about just on loving life

My history teacher showed us the jimmy v speech just the other day. I have not heard another person so enthusiastic, inspirational and emotional about life in the face of death. Changed the way i viewed my life

Vivian Childs | 9 comments "If" by Kipling is great. Also Henry's speech to the troops at Agincourt on St. Crispin's, Shakespeare's Henry V. "We few. We happy few. We Band of Brothers."
Wow, I almost picked up my sword and went to battle!
