Should author be "A.^A.^Volts" or "A.A.^Volts" (where ^ is a space). I thought the manual said no spaces between initials.

Did not edit because I had a question: if author name was being edited at same time they were trying to claim their profile - would that mess them up?

Usually the confirm author links show a specific spelling. Likely safer to edit after author claims profile.

Looks like you are good to go. I think your profile name can be whatever you want - although as a reader I like it when the profile matches the author name.

Your profile name can be anything you like. I was just concerned someone auto-editing the author name on the book would mess with claiming the author profile process. Once claimed, edits should be fine.

Or that if something did go goofy it would be easier to track down if I mentioned.

Uh oh, looks like book was already edited to clear extra space in author name but doesn't yet show profile was claimed. Doesn't look like, in this case, the claim link changed (because doesn't put the periods of author name in the link); but I can still think of examples where it could.

@A. A. - just let us know if you have any trouble claiming the profle.

I went to the link when it was first posted and send a message to claim it. But I haven't heard anything after that.
I just claimed it again using the link without space.
