Tori | 2 comments Also, for a little older, the Christy Miller and Siera Jensen series, both by Robin Jones Gunn are awesome.

H.E.R.O. Faith weaves relevant questions facing today’s young women with timeless Biblical principles. FANTASTIC read. Highly recommend."

That does sound good. Placed it on my list.

I am also a published author of fiction for girls in that age group. :-)

Jackie (jacmayran) | 1 comments My book 'Emelin' is medieval historical fiction. It is not an overly 'preachy' novel but does carry a 'God awareness' that is positive along with a character-building theme. smarturl.it/emln Emelin is written for older children and YA readers.

R.J. Gilbert (rjagilbert) | 12 comments If I may, two of my family fantasies are rather relevant to the current turmoil in our world right now.

The Lucky and the Strong (Tales of Vantoria book 2) by Robert J.A. Gilbert
The Lucky and the Strong is a romantic adventure featuring a reckless fairy and a more cautious swordsman. It was inspired by the dialogues I've had with both "liberal" and "conservative" friends. In the end, Mary and Renaud have to set aside their differences in order to save the kingdom from an army of trolls.

Dungeon of Illusion (Tales of Vantoria 3) by Robert J.A. Gilbert
The sequel to The Lucky and the Strong finds Mary, Renaud, and their friends caught in the middle of a political battle that bears a lot of similarities to today's news. However, the story is not about "picking a side". It's about the people caught in the middle, and the relationships that have been torn apart because of being forced to choose a side. This story was inspired when I watched my youth group go through our church's own political breakup. The issue of divorce is also addressed, as well as friendships and political deception.

Right now, The Lucky and the Strong is available at Smashwords.com for free, coupon code VS65F.

Dungeon of Illusion is only available for Kindle and paperback from Amazon.com at the moment, but if anybody is interested, I will have a freebie promotion in the next few weeks for it as well.

Fiona Linday (flin) | 4 comments Hello,
I wrote a book called Get Over It, Adventures by Onwards & Upwards. It sensitively covers the loss of a parent and how child and parent can adjust with help and guidance.
see http://www.onwardsandupwards.org/prod...
For students I recommend this book to warn girls about the dangers of grooming from gangs in the UK. What If I Go? is empowering and hopeful for Grace who comes through trauma with God's help. See http://amzn.to/2n4JIud

Matt Conroy | 1 comments Teens talkin faith. This book is a solid read with lots of good messages and other flame facts that'll get your kids all sorts of rowdy to learn about their faith.

Thanks for your endorsement Matt I much appreciate it. The book is on sale too!
I try to provide nitty-gritty truth. Buy a copy for a school leaver?
Best Fiona

Fiona Linday (flin) | 4 comments Matt would you kindly post your message as a review? That would really help me.

Cynthia (cynthiattoney) | 8 comments My first historical for tweens and teens, boys or girls, released in October. Lots of action, suspense, and a little light romance. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

S.G. Byrd (sgbyrdfantasy) | 1 comments That's exactly what I want to do--write fun fantasy within a Christian world-view. Check out The Brueggen Stones, Fernpeople, and The Opal Cavern by S. G. Byrd.

R.J. Gilbert (rjagilbert) | 12 comments Unfortunately, the "Christian worldview" is not so easily defined these days. I have friends who think Harry Potter is "Christian" because it's "good v evil". Since when did the Christian worldview make witchcraft an acceptable means by which good can fight evil?

Cynthia (cynthiattoney) | 8 comments I just recommended some authors to a book fair looking for good, clean, Christian worldview books for middle school students:

Glenn Haggerty
Mary L. Hamilton
Jean Ann Williams

sydney (sydneytsay) My best suggestion for 11-15 would be Chains by Laurie Halse Anderson (link down below). It's Christian, and historical fiction that really helped me and my friends see the unfairness of slavery and everything that happened to them during the Revolutionary War. I held a book club for it, with teens, ages 12-14, and we all ended up reading the entire book without going over it together. It was such a beautiful story and I enjoyed it. It's a trilogy, and my friends and I are currently reading Forge (the second book) Definitely a good choice for teens.

My second choice would be The Thirteen Series. A trilogy, and such a lovely storyline. Although it would be kind of mature for 11 year olds, teens love it. It's fantasy, and Christian as well.

Chains (Seeds of America, #1) by Laurie Halse Anderson
The Glass Castle (Thirteen #1) by Trisha White Priebe
The Ruby Moon (Thirteen #2) by Trisha White Priebe
The Paper Boat (Thirteen #3) by Trisha White Priebe

There is a great Christian middle school series by Jerel Law for those who liked Percy Jackson.
Spirit Fighter
Truth Runner

Steve Fincher | 4 comments I am nearly 14, my favourite christian book is The Edelweiss Express. This is book 2 in the series but probably the best, it covers a theme of the holocaust but his faith and because he believes in god helps him survive. I also learnt a lot about ww2.
