When considering only this book : DEFFINETLY UMBRIDGE :D

Umbridge. Voldy and Umby were both EVIL, but Umby REALLY got on my nerves. When I was reading the book, I was really close to just jumping in there and performing a Cruciatus Curse on her! >.<

BUT Voldemort is still more evil. BUT i hate Umbridge more.
Voldemort must die as he's the one causing widespread fear and murder in the wizard world. Umbridge should stay alive and be tortued . . . ssllloooooowwwwwllllyyyyy!

Umbridge. When her and Professor Mcgonagall had a face off i'm pretty sure i died laughing.
Umbridge! She was sooo annoying the whole time. And, like Ruth says, I wanted the series to continue so if that meant Voldemort lived on so be it.

I wanted Umbridge to die more because we actually got to know her more than we did Voldy. Her death would of been more of a personal thing versus Voldy's death. Even thought Voldy was more of a bad guy.

Umbridge gets the most hates, because she was the more relatable villain. Everyone knows that rotten teacher or person in control that they wish would get their due. Umbridge upsets people because she's a real person that we all know.Voldemort is the impersonal mass murderer. How many of those do you know personally? Yes, we know he's the worst, but it's just difficult to connect any strong emotion to such deep levels of evil as it's so difficult to understand.
But, to answer the question, Voldemort. Though we never get to see it described, I assume the centaurs took care of Umbridge to everyone's satisfaction.

I would say Voldemort because he is the destroyer of the wizarding world but then again Umbridge does give him a run for his money.

Umbridge is snail excrement in the overall scheme of things. She rose to power on the skirt tails (or robe tails) of others but she is merely an annoyance, a bully at best. It seems to me that Harry (et al) dealt with her quite effectively. (If not Harry, then the Weasley twins certainly let their disrespect for Umbridge become quite evident.) Voldemort, on the other hand, was pure evil. His soul had been twisted and split seven different ways as he made the horcruxes and committed numerous murders. He inflicted physical and mental pain for the sheer fun of it. Tom Riddle was a psychopath and his malicious nature was not improved once he morphed into the Dark Lord. Voldemort had to be stopped, once and for all. Anyone who does not understand the difference between snail excrement and pure evil, and would want to kill off Umbridge in favor of Voldemort, really failed to recognize that the Dark Lord was a metaphor for evil in the Harry Potter series.

I didn't want both of them to die. I love evil people! But I have to choose someone, so I choose Umbridge. I don't like the color pink.

Anyone who comes to "power" because of other people deserves nothing and should be killed off immediately. She was scum, and should have died like it.
