Meg (megvt) | 362 comments It is time to think about the monthly theme. We could go director or theme. Last time bigotry/prejudiced and movies about presidents rated high in the polls. How about we take ideas until Friday and then do a poll?

If you are looking for deaf protagonists, have you read the Life of Edgar Sawtelle?

smetchie Liz, I'll send you mine if I can find it. I threw it across the room in disgust and now it seems to have disappeared. It's maybe just under the couch or something.

smetchie I can't find it anyway. I think I got so mad at it I made it disappear! It really is a beautiful book. I hope you enjoy it and I hope it doesn't make you angry. :)

Huh??? LIZ is running to the dictionary!

A dystopian society is one in which the conditions of life are miserable, characterized by human misery, poverty, oppression, violence, disease, and/or pollution. Like "Slumdog Millionaire"?

Hey look what I found! An actual site with both these themes:
