I'm not sure about the first one; I am sure the second isn't a series.

I think the third one probably is a series but I'm not entirely sure -- most of the books appear to have been written explicitly for the series, but a few appear to have been merely annotated for the series, and since we combine annotations with originals in most cases that would disqualify the whole thing. Does anyone else have thoughts?

The first is definitely not (it includes books from 1250 that have recently been reprinted). And apparently includes thousands of books. Definitely some kind of imprint: Gone.

I think the third should go as well (take a look at the book with 8 editions), but am willing to be convinced otherwise. ;)

And that is the problem: there is no way to have a series only apply to on edition of a work; it's all or none.

The third "series" seems to be not the original works but studies about the works.

At the very least I have removed the work Il racconto dei racconti ovvero Il trattenimento dei piccoli from the series, because none of the editions were "studies".

But I still think the "series" should be deleted.

These are graphic novels by various authors published over the last 20 years, which apparently have been issued as a "collection of science fiction themed comics" by a Spanish comics press, but as far as the rest of the world is concerned, the stories are in no way linked. Also the "series" designation applies even to the English language editions of these comics, which seems problematic to me.
