Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Does he mean you can't get me off with a tyre lever?

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Have you got any spare tyres?

message 103: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments I am sylph-like. (it says here)

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Do you want some of mine then?

message 105: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments I'll pass on that, but thanks for the offer!

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Oh very diplomatic...

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments You do not know how much of a relief that is!

I was just getting ready to delete all those jokes about Yorkshire. Now i can leave them in!

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Well, here's mine at last - Edna the Inebriated Angel. Bought, kept, loved, crushed!

Last chance to get your entries, suggestions, silly ideas in.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I'm thinking Lorraine in one of the corsets she has been liking on facebook would be a lovely topper to any tree!

message 110: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments As long as it's fairly large - she'd bend mine!

message 111: by Jay-me (Janet) (new)

Jay-me (Janet) | 3784 comments It's going to be too late for me to put a photo on - my tree won't be up for another 10 days or so. But I could have climbed up to the top cupboard and rooted the angel out of the box.

message 112: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments That's what I did Janet!

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Ah. We can stretch a point. Still not sure when it'll be judged. Over the weekend I suppose.

sorry, I first read that as 'I've put out a contract ON a judge'.

You run with a tough crowd!

message 122: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments The contract ON the judge takes effect if s/he hasn't chosen by Monday!

message 123: by Will (new)

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments Better choose one of the blokes, then.

We all know what girls are like with decisions.

*Grabs tin hat and runs away*

message 124: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments I've had a message from the judge that the winner is ... ta-da!......

BJ Burton's before and after fairy princess!

BJ, could you send me a PM with your email address and I'll get a £5 Amazon voucher off to you ASAP.

Well done everyone. That was a bit of fun!

message 129: by B J (new)

B J Burton (bjburton) | 2680 comments Oh Gee, oh golly gosh, I don’t know what to say, I never thought for a moment that I’d win so I have no speech prepared, but I’ll start by thanking the artistic director who created Flossie the Fairy Princess, the forester who grew the tree, the judge(s), Ignite for the festive fun, my parents, my wife, my children who have all contributed so much to my career that has culminated in this supreme achievement, thank you, thank you, thank you (breaks off, sobbing).

Unfortunately, the news of her fame has quite gone to Flossie’s head and the abandoned leg-waving has begun a lot earlier this year.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Oh well done. Flossie will enjoy her 5 minutes of fame to the hilt (and over it possibly!).

Fairy Cheers! Plenty of G, not much T.
Any chance of a straw? Drinking upside down can mean spilling a tragic amount. With love. Flossie. hic.

message 136: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments She's my kinda gal! ;)

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I can see the reason she won now...

message 138: by B J (new)

B J Burton (bjburton) | 2680 comments Fame has gone to her head. She's insisting on holding her own competition. See new thread. I fear the worst.

message 139: by Marc (new)

Marc Nash (sulci) | 4313 comments I don't have a tree cos I think it's wrong to cut them down for a week's usage. What have I atop my virtual tree? A moral high horse of course! Happy Crimbo :-)

message 140: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Pearson | 259 comments You can get christmas trees that have roots Marc, mine does. Whether it will survive my black thumb until next year is another matter of course...
