Thank you Jo, Jan & Pat. Her A* grades were for physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy and geography with the 8 for maths.
Firstly, Paul you must be so proud, amazing results.Secondly, I have completely mislaid my book, can't find it anywhere. Wouldn't be so odd if it wasn't for the fact I am reading The Goldfinch, hardly a small book.
Left it at work, which meant i had to start another book last night. Two books on the go, choices, choices.
These adaptations are normally excellent, can't wait. Neil Gaiman's Anansi Boys. Christmas Day broadcast

Congrats to your daughter Paul.Basingstoke has been declared a no-go area again. We aint got that much snow but we have tonnes of stupid drivers. Crashing all over the place, bad one down the road, must have been going pretty fast to cause so much damage and drivers have abandoned cars in such a way that there is no access to the hospital. :-(
Congrats. My dear son keeps failing. Not because of incompetence but nerves. I’m not sure I would pass now! So glad she passed Paul. I’m so happy to see on local news that, despite people being silly enough to try to get home in the snow yesterday, then the Cornish kindness still prevails. Lots of people helping those stranded. No reports of idiots down here....although we have our fair share. Generally people seem not to rush quite so much. Life is more important than rushing. As the Cornish say....We will get there directly. Directly could be a minute or a year. Drives non locals mad. However we love it. What’s so important in life to rush for.....except an emergency and, clearly in Basingstoke, they can’t get to hospital. Phew. There are great advantages to living elsewhere but I wouldn’t swap it for the world. Thanks, Jason, for reminding me.
Sorry to hear that, Jason.
London is full of lunatics, of course. Even though I learned here I don't like driving locally. Plenty of kind and friendly people too, though.
Congratulations to your daughter, Paul. She is a credit to you.

There are kind and friendly people everywhere. Of course a lot of Cornish children leave Cornwall as they want a busier life. In addition not much employment here and rubbish wages. So they go off to London. They then spread the Cornish kindness. Haha.
You should come to Basingstoke, we are so kind that we'll push an 80 yr old war vet to the floor to steal his poppies and donated money. It is awesome here.
The Basingstoke Carnage has been the talk of Twitter tonight (if you follow Brian Cox) - will they won’t they cancel his show tonight. Lots of cross people who couldn’t get into town but “the show must go on”!!

I do follow Brian on Twitter but hadn't noticed that earlier!
