I loved it and thought the second was even better. Hoping that means the third will be the best yet!
All three books were amazing and I can not wait til the next book! The third was definitely the best and I think you'll enjoy it David! I personally couldn't put it down :) but it was an amazing series.
Ok so, the movie I haven't seen but the books are amazing!! I have read the first two main and the three "lost files" that are out. I'm ordering the third main book online because the cover I want to match the set I have is only selling in England :/ BUT it will be so great!!!
Book 3 was definitely the best! Get to it, David! ;-). Hahaha... So many books to read and not enough time!!
Wow, that's so cool to hear considering how much I liked the other too. It's high on my list, should get to it soon!
Haha yeah I've had a lot of people saying to not see the movie. definitely read the third book and if you guys haven't already, read the lost files too!! There is gonna be a fourth instalment to the lost files about Sam. So I highly recommend you get on them!
I guess I'm the only one who didn't like it..It was too slow and I enjoyed the movie better..
I notice there was something... OFF with Sarah.
Oh btw, I find Pittacus Lore weird. :|
LOL that's ok, not everyone likes the same things! I didn't mind the movie, but liked the book better :)
The second book is better than the first and a bit faster, but I'm not sure if you want to risk not liking another one.

OMG! I love this series. So far each book just gets better. Although I hated the way #3 ended. I swear I think "how long till the August release" of #4 once a week. The novellas are great also. I love the storyline with One and Adamus. The movie left so much out.
Not sure which is my favorite. Two was excellent. Plot wise 3 was great, but the head hopping, especially during the battles, was a bit confusing.
Only 3 more long months till the next novella I Am Number Four: The Lost Files: The Last Days of Lorien is released in April.
I've never read any of the books. I was disappointed in the movie though. I had never heard of the books until the movie actually. They are on my tbr list. The movie however was very lacking. I had high hopes for it after seeing the previews but of course they show all the great highlights in the movie previews.
In my opinion the books are way better than the movie so might be worth at least reading the first one to see what you think :)

Aww yay, I'm glad I have more to look forward to!!!

It ain't perfect and there's definitely a lot you can be critical about, but for me it was a pretty fun read if you look at it more as just entertainment. The sequel was a bit better, but more of the same. I'm not sure you'd like it though Heidi...just a feeling :)
I don't like the idea of an "author mill". I would rather support independent honest authors such as yourself David. http://thebitterscriptreader.blogspot...
Wow! Thanks for sharing that, I've never even heard of such a thing and I can't believe there are awful people out there taking advantage of young writers just trying to make it in a very competitive industry. Hmmmm, it really makes me unsure of whether to read the third book, but I do like them! I guess the annoying thing is that the young writer did a decent job with the book (not sure how much the publisher changed) and should be the one making the money from it. I feel really bad for him.
And thank you for your support for us Indies who are working so hard!

Yeah that is the good thing about Goodreads - I have found out a lot of behind the scenes things that have turned me off to certain books/writers due to their behavior but I have also found great independent gems like your book :)
OOO. I'm currently reading this book ^_^ (was planning to read it later this year but couldn't find Seizure by Kathy Reichs so...)I did watch the movie though... I hate saying this, but the movie was kinda better... but that's not confirmed until I read the entire book from left to right. (No tomatoes, guys)
Lol if you liked the movie better than you must really not like the book lol. The movie was pretty bad :)
I was in 6th or 7th grade lol. There's a difference in a 9th grader's thoughts and a 6th/7th grader's thoughts :p
The problem with the movie was it left out all the off Earth stuff. Other than that I enjoyed it, even bought the dvd (used). Never would have read the book if the movie hadn't caught my attention.
I think I might have to rewatch the movie again after I read it to fully compare it (my movie memory is shabbier than book memory :p).
I haven't read any of the books yet, though I have them all on my Kindle. I actually liked the movie, but everyone is different and has their own tastes and preferences.

Aww cool :) Well, give the first book a try and I'll be curious to hear whether you like it more or less than the movie. Seems like we ALL have different opinions on this one lol so we'll love to hear another one :)
