I'm Antonia and I'm joining from Sacramento. I love classic British English novels of the nineteenth century but also some US classics. I love the novels of Charles Dickens; I am re-reading Jane Austen because I couldn't stand her novels when I was a university student. My favourite books? Any novels of Dickens or the Italian author Giorgio Bassani and Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird.
Hi, my name is Lindsay and I recently relocated to Columbus, OH. I am an avid reader and new to Oprah's Book Club. My favorite book is A Walk In The Woods by Bill Bryson and I'm currently reading An American Childhood by Annie Dillard.
Hello everyone, I'm joining in from Dearborn, Michigan. ONE favorite book? This is the hardest question for a reader, in my opinion. I guess if I have to choose one book it will have to be JANE EYRE by Charlotte Bronte. There has never been a book that has touched me in the way Jane Eyre has. In fact, I am going to read it again this upcoming year.
Glad to be here. Excited to be reading with you all.

Hello, Group !
I'm a debut author from Cincinnati Ohio and hope to be featured in Oprah's book club someday. I just released my first book, The Great Black Hope, about a month ago ! Of course, I am an avid reader and just completed reading Behind the Beautiful Forevers by Katherine Boo. I highly recommend this book !
I'm a former business owner and product development chemist, who received a calling to participate in the education sector. I'm currently a private tutor, but also occasionally teach business, chemistry and mathematic classes at local universities in Greater Cincinnati. I hold a B.A. in Chemistry from Miami University, an M.B.A. from the University of Cincinnati and a B.S. in Education from the McGregor School at Antioch University.
Although I've been published as a writer in technical journals and other print media relating to her business career, The Great Black Hope is my first effort in writing a nonfiction novel. I plan to write and publish the remaining fifty-seven or so other stories relating to my spiritual favors and experiences.
My long term goal is to revitalize the inner city community of Lincoln Heights in Cincinnati, the first incorporated village in the United States whose population was predominantly African-American and self-governing. Lincoln Heights is the community in which my students live.
Hello all, I am Tiffany from Maine. I Love to read anything and everything. It's hard for me to pick my favorite book, but the first book to really stick with me is "White Oleander" by Janet Fitch. I'm also a big fan of the Harry Potter Series.
