Shahree Vyaas | 4 comments Urban Vyaas I live somewhere between Europe, Central America and Asia. For more than ten years I used to get around on a boat, but had to give it up because it was too time-consuming. Right now I get most of my utilities by magic, just like everyone else who lives on land. When I'm not writing or moving around, I like to read, entertain my wife and to visit artist colonies who established themselves in old factories or in the middle of nowhere.
I'm also comfortably asocial--a hermit. I tend to be a pessimist and an oil-and-water combination of ambition, laziness, insecurity, certainty, and drive. I´m also the author of
The All is an Egg: A Synthetic Theory of the Universe, Humankind and Religion
The concept of this book is founded upon the idea of how the cyclical nature of a multitude of phenomena mirrors circulatory biological patterns. Connecting art, science, and religion, with the metaphor of the egg foisted onto it, is a transformative work, and a profound invitation to reflect.
I´m running a Free Book Promotion from
Wednesday, January 27, 2021, 12:00 AM PST till Thursday, January 28, 2021, 11:59 PM PST.

JCM SEDNA | 52 comments Hello Urban,
It sounds like you live a life of fluidity and go with the flow just like water... It is wonderful to be comfortable with self being a hermit and also enjoy your wife's company as well. I like your theory of connecting universe, humankind, religion, science and art because there is not only a curiosity we as people have but also a multitude of questions to ask regarding these subjects. I agree there is indeed an interrelatedness between all these elements and a great deal to learn.

Hi JCM, Thank you for your kind considerations, albeit it looks like, before COVID 19 froze the fluid movements of humankind into a near stasis, I used to pass most of my time into the air. I still have a strong affinity with water and very often remain for longer time on islands that lay a little away from the beaten paths. Looking forward to pass some interesting times on this website.

I.D. Cortez (idcortez) | 3 comments Hello, I'm I. D. Cortez from Nigeria. I really love fiction, particularly romance, crime, horror and mystery. Sometimes I do "vanish" into these books for days. I began writing as a content creator in 2005, but because I couldn't find exactly what I wanted in a story, I decided to published my first mystery fiction novel in 2020. I'm really exciting to be here and look forward to reading and learning from the wonderful pool of authors here.

message 2708: by JCM (new)

JCM SEDNA | 52 comments Fear not Urban this is a mere pause ... frozen water always thaws... a slower pace remaining on the islands just gives you both more time for reflection...I am forever the optimist and believe all will be well once again...I look forward to reading your book.

Lunaa Ethan | 2 comments Hello!

My name is Lunaa and I am from Canada and living a nomadic travel lifestyle (stuck on Vancouver Island right now, hiding from the snow because COVID ruins everything). I am an RN by training and practice but have shifted to teaching ESL/EFL remotely and building up writing and photography content on my website. I have been an avid, passionate reader my whole life and love exploring the world through travel and literature - especially being unable to travel right now. I love reading a variety of books and am not dedicated to any one genre.. historical fiction and psychological thrillers are my favourites, but I am a sucker for great storytelling and the imagery words paint in my mind.

Sunnyreads8 | 2 comments Hello everyone! I'm Sana from the US!
I was never a reader growing up. I loved the idea of books but I could never finish a book and have still so many half read books from my youth but just about a month and a half or so ago, I was compelled to start reading anything that would hold my interest. I didn't make rules about what I should be reading and about 5 books later, I'm loving my new hobby. I am still discovering my favorite genres and authors but I look forward to getting into all new worlds through these books!

My name is Richard Schiller as in Schiller Park illinois born and raised as a cheesehead, (a tag-remark i never use, since family siblings would have devoured me to death with yet another slurring tag to laugh at; are we not having fun!). The youngest of four who all hate each other, or can't make up their minds. And, as always, people with hate in their hearts make up lies on each other. So Frey i cannot expect someone to believe MY TRUTH if i have 5 others in my family who ALL have different stories; but will join and collaborate to become ONE story (as inter-hating groups who all had wished to rid Jesus) so make their story the SAME if it is to say I am the one ALL wrong, since i can expose the bad of each one of them. They all pretend to say to THEIR face, EACH OTHERS face, whatever they think, yet as liars they do not slam the other to the face. They gather to slam me. And NEVER gather to slam the family in face and end up with war they walk away from. Oh yes all talk about mom, all together, when mom isnt there. And all talk about oldest brother, all together, all there, when bro is not there. But i am nothing, a POS of crap, they can degrade me standing there, and one word would only explode it worse. I have to suck it up, whether truth that they never cram down someone else in such a (hows that entertainment!) a ROAST? I am no longer alive. I am dead. Roasted to the bone. I live because i know 7 billion can now live or die, though my peace would be to damn God and tell him none should be Armageddon survivors. Yet i know it is HIS right to save those who make the effort thogh unworthy. So i live for that, and dead when that project finishes. Insanity? Yep. Go see my Face Book (Jehovah's Channel).

Hopsice HartfulLand killed my mother last month. I stood there as if i had killed her. Laying on the bed infront of me. THe bading of a lift-crane under her, lowered onto the bed. Choked to death biting her tongue. As the air gasped out of the body every 60 seconds i imagined she was gasping to get air, and i put the oxygen hose in her mouth and cried mom breathe breathe mom. Realizing she was dead from the morphine-lorazepam they gave her because i stated i was taking her out of hospice, and they rushed on over to kill her, i called 911 to ask i need to know if she has died, is she breathing. And my thoughts as brother went into seizure (8 in the next 30 minutes because the big man, the only one who works in the world, the only one who says what they should do with women, the one who needs no one, is passed out in seizure because he can't face mom has died, and imagines that means he loves her most. I thought to myself GREAT, they come, medics, police, and i have two dead people laying on the floor. I was ready to die myself. 2020 Nov 18.

This was only more trauma since Hospice All Liars killed my father at home 2017 Feb 19 saying THEY like to go this way. Shut up i know what i am doing. Lay him down (i said he'll choke to death on flu fem) and she told my JW mom to speak Paradise to him. Dad who was vicious to mom, but played lamb to every woman, says to the nurse okay okay. By vicious i mean Like the Thursday i was suppose to give a Kingdom Hall bible reading at 17, i called up the black Elder and said won't be at meeting tonight, not going, walking over to 'sister' mom baptized, BECAUSE dad is downstairs strangling mom to death while she's stabbing him in the leg with a pair of scissors telling me to call the cops. Like i said, years go by and they all say i made it up, so i'm insane, no an apostate liar.

My links are on YouTube (Oprah activism verbal) got into the audience by stating on the phone my GFs parents called me and said they disown her until they rid me. WHY? Don't have to ask them, i know, because my mother is a JW. I was also back in the NBC audience of Oprah when a cry-baby was suing because they hung him. Well i was hung too, and wasn't on stage whimping away like he was. But Oprah said it was the worst she hear of him, and so no stories from the audience. To my disappointment. Because i was also hung out a window and told by two men they were going to rape me. They had porn mags up on the6th floor stock of American Motors Corp, and they locked the elevator. The porn guy with the nickname BaBa was almost 7 feet tall and like a bear, while it was the Mexican making the cracks about raping me as my waist rested on the window, bent overlooking down at parked cars, and all he held was my ankles. I thought, Oprah has the wrong guy on stage, its just a legal suit in court.

Then my neighbor i did video with (my equipment, $15k from 1978 VHS) hears i got to the Oprah Show (he thinks he's going to advance in the TV-business from his werewolf Milwaukee skit) so he calls in and says he wants back with his exGF, and HE gets on stage sobbing all the fake tears he can, that i never saw. Now i look back and recall sitting on the proch talking to him about Oprah (before he did this) and it was just a block form Kenosha's 7-bullet Avenue which has recently burned down our city, first downtown, then the next week uptown). So another more recent You Tube link of me (a call to WatchTower asking leave the POA of my mom alone or you will kill her); she is now dead. And a link where i put the 1914 license of Gods kingdom in her casket asking her to be the next Lazarus so the saints know they are behind schedule and we all die if they don't do so now. Insanity? you decide!

message 2716: by Ricknkenosha (last edited Jan 29, 2021 10:04AM) (new)

Ricknkenosha | 2 comments And may i add what you wish to know is i read books on who ruled the world after Noah but before Abram down to Moses when the Bible was started. It means i study astronomy. Connections i find no where (i wrote a book that sold two whole copies to ME). It is called Origin of the 7-day Creation. I keep writing these things for God when i rather write my life-saga. I guess we all have that self-pity I quit watching TV because every night i dream better stories and remember the script than anything on TV or movies these days. My Jenifer Lopez sole survivor of a jetplane in auto-pilot is my favorite dream. But everything i see or read inspires a new dream new story script. I liked my ET with Barbara Streisand better and before Steven Speilberg changes flying Witch Mountain vans into flying bicycles that huh have to be peddled Besides in the 70s hiding ET in your blouse and its squirming around your breasts would have been R back then. (She was walking thru a grocery store to see what food would stir him, and few squirming suction fingers on her breasts when se held a food-package to herself.) She gets ET home. Repairs his little ship, which Uncle Martin never did. In essence since childhood i have always repaired bad movies, and even good movies. And movies are books. Thats why my dream would be to really show you Noah's preFlood world on film. And the disasters we have actually had since that Flood baptism; especially since baptism to 8000 feet is about to happen again with the south Pacific impact being ignored.

Jasmine Wright | 1 comments Howdy!

I'm Jas from New Brunswick, which is on the East Coast of Canada It's great to begin connecting with fellow booklovers, I wish all of you wellness and serenity during this wild time of life!

Growing up my sweet escape was through my imagination. I wonder about the endless possibilities of life and was a huge fiction reader. Now I am a University student studying Sciences. My life has become an oxymoron. I embrace studying life and all it's habitual features, observing my own routines to grow as an individual. When reality gets too much, I find comfort in sitting down indulging in an intriguing book.

Philosophy, Romantic, Suspense, & Fairy Tales are my go to.

Oprah's drive and booming career have motivated me to work hard and chase my dreams. I own her 20-year anniversary collection as a staple in my home. Watching her growth, aspire to inspire as she has and blossom with my life's purpose. I look forward to seeing heartfelt reviews/recommendations from you fellow book lovers!

Take care! Shalom.
