Frances Clark (throughtime) | 88 comments I thought this might be an interesting topic. I came across this site today. Some interesting snippets. Anyone else found a website devoted to time travel?

Howard Loring (howardloringgoodreadscom) | 1177 comments Frances, thanks for the link.

What do you think of his idea of 'Tome' found in his introduction?

What heading does it come under Howard?

Howard Loring (howardloringgoodreadscom) | 1177 comments Frances, on the first page, under the pictures.

Hit this:
An introduction to In My Own Time: Messages from a misplaced time traveller (fictional!).

Frances Clark (throughtime) | 88 comments Ah ha I found it. Dumbo me. Perhaps he means dimension. A tome is a very large book isn't it. So maybe a very large but yet unexplored (from our side) dimension.

Howard Loring (howardloringgoodreadscom) | 1177 comments Yes, just another point of view, as I read it.

An interesting outlook, but I think it strange that he takes such pains to call his thrust Fiction.

Perhaps he's hiding something in a 'tounge in cheek' way.

I like his picture too.

Welcome.

Take all the TIME you need to get into the site, but Frances & I already like your writing, so sooner is better from my point of view.

I'll have to use my Time Machine in order to view it all, thanks.

Yes Howard 750 beats them hands down. All I need now is enough time to watch some of them. I've got my son working on a time machine as we speak but I can't see how it's really going to help me.

Excellent find Francis, its nicely laid out with IMDB links etc. What I do notice though, is that it contains no foreign movies of which I have seen quite a number of and posted about in the Good-bad-ugly movies thread. So not quite definitive but certainly otherwise the most aesthetically pleasing travel movie/tv db. For a definitive list, however, I actually have this booked marked. apologies for having kept it to myself until now. Basically its the IMDB site searched by keyword tag "Time Travel" and pretty much list every single TT film/game/tv program/short film in the world.

http://www.imdb.com/keyword/time-travel/

Whats good about this list is that you can refine it by movies, tv, games or short film. In a way its cool that is sorted by ratings too but what is not so cool is that you cant really sort it in any other way except by date. So no alphabetical sorting with this one which is a silly oversight.

I looked at the imdb site Tej. 1,182 titles! I'm going to have to live till at least 200 just to get through them.
Living in a country town means I don't have access to the movies very often either so I miss out on the latest ones. I have to wait till they come out on DVD or get them online.

Aww I've been a city boy all my life so when I go on a break to the countryside, I love the trips but I will soon get homesick after a few days because I need my cinemas, theatres, museums, sports centres and high street stores, I cannot live without them!

But I do love country breaks. During the summer, I play cricket every Sunday in the country areas as shown in the background of my profile pic, thats Hambledon in Hampshire.

I watch 200 films on average every year. Half of those at the cinema and the rest on TV, I know my stats pretty well because I log every film I watch...another sad idiosyncrasy of mine! So, if I was to dedicate those viewings to just time travel, I should see them all in 6 years time :) But I wont do that, I'm not THAT eccentric, lol.

My own site is sadly out of date (working on a design overhaul), but I know the Athrerco site gives a shout out to my site in their credits for the movie list.
