Hi Jess, I have also always loved reading but tend to go through phases where I read loads or very little. I hope you enjoy the monthly reads, they are a great incentive to try new things.

Hi Jess. I agree with all of your comments. I just find it lovely to read and talk about books with other readers. That inspires me to read more. It's hard to make time but 5 mins a day is 5 mins of bliss. All to yourself.
Hi everyone I'm new to this group! Im Rowena and I'm 37 years old, was born and raised in South London.. now live in Rainham on the London/Essex borders... I discovered my love for reading again after years of not reading since around November last year as for my birthday I got a kindle. Since then not a day goes by without me reading!!
Ive been reading a lot of YA lately but am trying to branch out to other genres. I'm looking forward to discussing books, participating in challenges and getting recommendations from other readers.
Some of my favourite books
Harry Potter Series - J K Rowling
The Book Thief - Markus Zusak
Twilight Series - Stephanie Meyer
The Time Travelers Wife - Audrey Niffenegger
I'm currently reading :
Maybe Someday - Colleen Hoover
Winter (Book 4 Lunar Chronicles) - Marissa Meyer
Some books I want to read :
The night circus - Erin Morgenstein
Fangirl - Rainbow Rowell
A Court of Thorns and Roses - Sarah J Maas
All the Light We cannot see - Anthony Doerr
Welcome Rowena. It's great when we rediscover reading isn't it? I remember making time when my children were young. I started at 5 mins before I fell asleep then found I read longer as I didn't want to stop. Mediation is great as is mindfulness. Reading is one of my mindfulness meditations I reckon. Start reading and I forget the world....
Hello, I'm Anna Faversham from Kent. For as long as I can remember I have read everything I can get my hands on. Slowed up a lot now because I'm too busy, so I don't read as much as I'd like. But what I do read, I read slowly, enjoying every well-chosen word.I'm also an author of historical novels and that takes up a lot of my time.
Like Rowena, I love my Kindle, and I always have it with me in case of a few spare minutes. Currently reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
Hello everyone! It's a bit intimidating to be the first person to post here in 2018! But just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Meera from Massachusetts, USA and am an avid reader. I saw that you have a prize winner challenge and I thought that might be a good way for me to read better next year.
Hey everyone! I just couldn't resist joining this amazing group!Looking forward to interacting with you all :)
Hi Meera and Aqsa - welcome! Please check out our home page for monthly reads and the annual challenge and I hope you find something of interest.
Any questions, there is a "Questions for Mods" thread and you can also PM Paul, Lisa or myself.

Thank you, Jo. I'll be actively joining from next month and I'll be bugging you if I have any questions :)
Hi, I'm Glenda and I live in Phoenix Arizona. I'm an avid reader and review my books on a blog. I'm anxious to get to know people and would love to join in on some of the monthly reads. Maybe even the challenge.
