Hey everyone, My name is Jennifer I live in new jersey and work as a secretary and have a 1 year old who brightens my world. I am excited about becoming an active member of this group. I am currently reading "and the mountains echoed" which was your Nov 2015 read. Looking to finish within the next few days so I can get started on your current read.
Hi Jennifer. I live down below and to the left a little bit, in Delaware. I hope you enjoy the group!

I can say I am excited to be part of an intellectual discussion that doesn't make me feel like the biggest nerd on the planet. My boyfriend likes to read but not the same genre so I feel like I am talking to a child about wall street when discussing books with him.. he completely lacks interest.. so this should be fun for me.
Hi. I'm Ellie and live in NW England. Mum to 2 kids under 4 so my book time is my me time :)I think I know a few faces from Facebook but it'll be good to meet others. Feel free to friend me.
Looking forward to seeing what the 2016 challenge brings - I'm sorry I missed out on the 2015
Hi Ellie. I remember allowing myself 5 minutes before I went to sleep to read when my children were young. It was heaven.
Hi, I'm Sharon and I just joined. I live in SW Ohio with my two cats. I have two adult children and three grandchildren. My favorite books to read are classics, current literary fiction, and history. I like that you offer three different types of books each month as group reads, and I hope to participate in at least one of your reading challenges. Looking forward to being active in the group!
Hi, I'm Annette, from Ireland and joined here a couple of days ago. I am a voracious reader, and read pretty much all genres though I am more drawn to fiction. I am hoping to read more non fiction in 2016 though. I work as a pharmacist and I live with my boyfriend and our two cats in Dublin . I found out about this group from Paul and decided to try to be a more sociable reader . Today I am reading NOS4A2 by Joe Hill as an alternative Christmas read
Hello to all wonderful people here!My name is Natalia and I'm from Belarus.
Although I've been watching this group for quite some time already this year I've decided to actually participate :)
Hello thanks you for adding me to the group. I am from Yorkshire in the UK I love reading all kinds of books. I discovered Murakami last year and love his stuff but you may also find me reading Virginia Woolf or Joanne Harris or Charles Dickens or Graham Hancock. Anyway I look forward to chatting with you and joining some group or buddy reads as they come up.
Special thanks to Paul for pointing the way with the technology issues I have from my phone.
I'm a reader and an a*****. I w**** by day and read by night. I am currently reading At Swim Two Birds, Middlemarch and The Antinomies of Realism. I have recently become a fan of Spiked. I will acquire The Snow Child.
Hi everyone! Just a quick *wave* I've been thinking about joining a book club for ages but all my local ones are during working hours (argh) so I can't attend! This is a great idea :-) I'm a slow reader so hopefully this will push me along to get things finished!!Really looking forward to taking part in the April read, once I've finished off my current book (The Bone Clocks).
welcome Kirsty. :)I've had The bone clocks on my to read shelf for ages, I'd be interested to know how you like it.
Tracey wrote: "I've had The bone clocks on my to read shelf for ages, I'd be interested to know how you like it. "I think it's OK, enjoyable enough. It might grow on me, but I wouldn't say it's anything special. I'll try and stick a review elsewhere when I get a chance.
