Hi everyone, I'm Attia. Joined Goodreads a little while ago after an interesting MN thread. Am another bookworm but a small child and being back at work mean not as much time to read as I would like. Goodreads has given me some much needed encouragement to make more of an effort (I am already behind on my reading challenge!). I'll read anything and am always looking for new recommendations!
Hello, I'm Richard and I live in the North East of England. Liked the look of the group so delighted to be here. Look forward to some fruitful discussion!

Hello, My name is Jackie and I've been on here awhile. My local library just announced that they have found bedbugs in a few of the books. This is creeping me out. Has anyone else experienced this in their library system? I guess I'll be borrowing e-books until this is resolved.http://www.delawareonline.com/story/n...

Just another reason to keep getting my books in an electric format!
Hi everyone, I'm Jo - nice to meet you all! I'm looking forward to reading 'A man called Ove' with you all in December. Of mice and men has always been one of my favourites too so I might well have a re read of that too!
Welcome to Book Vipers Andrew. I am in Dorset, just down the road from you.
What sort of things do you like reading? Fiction, non fiction? Contemporary, classics? Then I should be able to send you some suggestions.

I remember finding it quite difficult getting back into fun reading after my degree Andrew so I know exactly where you're coming from. Now I'm overwhelmed with books and have a huge wishlist.Joining Goodreads, you will soon be back into the swing of reading fiction again. You read non fiction and academic reading very differently.
Would recommend anything by Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Iain M. Banks, China Miéville, or for more reguklar fiction, Iain Banks, John le Carré to start with. have a scan through my read items!
I'm reading The Ocean at the end of the lane Andrew.I like crime, thriller, mystery, classics and psychological as well as fantasy. You can friend me on here if you want and check out what I like. I went from, I don't know what to read, where to begin just like you.Too many to choose from now. :-)

So I've been a member for a little while now after meeting the lovely Paul on Facebook, so here's an introduction:Hi there, I'm Kerry, I'm nearly 22. I'm a forensic psychology student from lil old England. I have a wonderful cat and... That's about it. I'm pretty dull really. It's Friday night, and I'm at home reading a book instead of going out!
Some of my favourite authors are Terry Pratchett, J. R. R. Tolkien, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie, Jane Austen and Enid Blyton. Look forward to getting to know you all!
Hi all, I'm Aneta, I've just joined this group a few days ago. I'm a 44 year old accountant who loves books:-) I come from Poland but live in London and so I read both in Polish and in English. Books are my best companions on my daily commute and during my 'me time'. I mainly read fiction and some of my favourite authors are Margaret Atwood, John Irving and Isabel Allende. I'm looking forward to joining some of the group's challenges in 2016:-)
