Hi, I'm Norma, a retired HS math teacher. Finally with time for my two favorite hobbies, reading & stitching. I've joined a local book club so I would be encouraged to step away from my natural inclininations: historical fiction, mystery, some non-fiction. I look to find great variety & suggestions from this group in those genres since I'll read at least two books in addition to my book clubs selection. Happy reading to all.

I'm big into historical fiction and fantasy, but I'll read pretty much anything. Hi Paul and Pat. (Paul, I am very nearly in Dorset, right on the border).I am loving this book, though only 300 pages in! I hope it doesn't dip in the middle as I really don't want to be disappointed with it.
Welcome Sarah. I read Jonathan Strange a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. Looking forward to the tv adaptation soon.
