Hi, I'm Norma, a retired HS math teacher. Finally with time for my two favorite hobbies, reading & stitching. I've joined a local book club so I would be encouraged to step away from my natural inclininations: historical fiction, mystery, some non-fiction. I look to find great variety & suggestions from this group in those genres since I'll read at least two books in addition to my book clubs selection. Happy reading to all.

Good morning!I'm Jim, a booklover who lives in New Jersey. Feel free to add me as a friend. I read fiction and nonfiction. For a couple of challenges in other groups, I'm reading Shakedown: Exposing the Real Jesse Jackson by Kenneth R. Timmerman.
Jim
Hello Jim. Welcome to the group. I read a fair amount of non fiction too. Do you have any particular favourites?
Hi everyone! I'm Melissa, from south Louisiana. I'm a bartender in a local restaurant and a complete book lover!! I'm always looking for new recommendations to add to my ever growing collection. Glad to be a part of this group!!
Hi, I live in Alabama, USA. I found this group while I was researching reviews for The Miniaturist, which is on your March list. I look forward to seeing everyone's thoughts and discussions on it. I welcome Goodreads friend requests.
Hi Cindy. Nice to meet you. I live in Delaware, so we are neighbors, of a sort. I just joined a few months ago myself.
Hi, I'm Deb from Atlanta, Georgia, U.S. - Looking forward to sharing and hearing about interesting reading with the great variety of folks in this group!
Welcome to BV Cherie, Cindy and Deb. Happy reading and don't forget to check out the great challenges Paul has concocted for us. x

I've been on Goodreads for a few years but was only using it to keep track of what I'd read. I just recently discovered the social aspect of it when I joined this group.
Hi everyone! I'm Lauren. I'm from the state of New York in the United States. I'm currently working at Starbucks and pursing an art degree. I love reading and am excited to be joining this group :)
Hi Lauren, nice to meet you. I'm Lizzie, I live in London and I'm currently taking part in the Full Deck Challenge and the Dusty Book Shelf Challenge, so mostly post on those threads. This group is great for chatting about what you're reading now and getting ideas about what to read next. Lizzie
Hi Lauren, welcome to Book Vipers. I like historical fiction too. You're sure to get some new ideas and recommendations on here!
Hey everyone, I'm Pete.I'm a musician from the UK and I've been trying to read more this year, so always looking for new recommendations. I'm on a bit of a sci fi binge at the moment, but I want to explore some more classics and historical fiction this year too.
Hey, I'm Elise, it's nice to meet you all. I made my name "The Reviewer" because Elise is usually taken on websites and because I wanted to remain anonymous. I've always loved to read. I'm big into historical fiction and fantasy, but I'll read pretty much anything. I like a lot of non-fiction too, everything from memoirs to histories of royal families to philosophy to...well, anything at all really. I'm new to GoodReads, so if you have tips, book recommendations, or anything at all, I'd love to hear it!
Welcome to the group Pete and Elise. Elise you are even more anonymous on here, your name appears as "The". That's pretty smart.
Hello group! I am Sarah (Ducky to my husband :P) I live in Oregon, U.S with my husband and 4 children- I am excited to get to know everyone! Feel free to throw a friend request at me!
Big booky welcome to Peter, Elise (aka The..lol!!!), and Sarah. Sure you will find plenty to keep you interested and open you up to lots of new reads. x
