Hi Charlotte, welcome to BV. I joined in January and have found it's given me a real boost. I have not read this many books in years. Lots of friendly chats, great challenges, recommendations and reviews. It's a perfect book lover's community. What's not to like! x

Hi all, I'm Debbie, from Norwich. I'm a support worker with 3 jobs, and devoted cat lover. I've wanted to join a book club for years, so am very excited to have found this one. I go through phases of reading voraciously then occasionally depending on what's going on in 'real life'. I've actually already started the series challenge as discovered the group a couple of weeks ago and thought I'd get stuck in!

Hi Debbie, and welcome! I'm a cat lover too, and keep meaning to add a picture of one of my little darlings to my profile. Cats and books - you're amongst friends here!

Thank you, sounds good!
Hi everyone! I'm Danielle and I live in Cambridge at the moment but am originally from Halifax in West Yorkshire. I've joined this group to branch out my reading habits (I'm stuck in a bit of fantasy rut!) and to meet fellow bookworms :)
Hi Danielle, welcome to BV. I am in Epping but originally from Sheffield. Love books, reading and this book club. Hope you enjoy it too. x

My name is Camille and I am...a book hoarder!Whew, feels good to get that off my chest!
Just kidding - I'm definitely not in denial about my hoarding. I'm not in the habit of denying myself the books I want - even if I never get around to reading them. I've probably only read a little more than half my collection at this point. I'm around 950 books at the moment.
I'm new to goodreads, though I apparently created an account a while ago. I'm just now creeping in and figuring out how this site works. I do log all my books on LibraryThing (gasp!) - so when I tried to copy them over here, not everything transferred. But I aim to start posting reviews here now and hopefully keep up with various discussions.
So...yeah!
Hi Camille, you will find a very warm welcome here in BV. I have a bit of a book thing myself, love 'em, can't live without 'em.
Hi everyone.. My name is Rachel and I am from wales :) nice to join a UK group. Looking forward to partaking in challenges, discussing books and maybe even make a couple of friends who enjoy reading as much as I do. x
Welcome to you all. This is a lovely group who are all kind to each other. They have made me very welcome and I know everyone is welcome here
Hi, I'm Tika and basically I love to read! I'm onto my 24th book of 2014! And hopefully will see some new books that I will fancy giving a go
I just wondered if anyone uses ReadItSwapIt? I've been using it for about 2yrs and it's a great way to get the books on want and keep your book collection in check :)
I don't Tika. I tend to recycle them through a local bookshop that sells second hand books. I do send on the odd one to friends, and pass them back to family etc. Is it any good?
It is. I've gotten rid of a couple books u won't read again and I got the shock of the fall, fault in our stars and Rachel Joyce Harold fry one as well :)
I use it sometimes. I was started to be put off by price of postage. However now PO has a 2.60ish tariff I may restart.
Hello all; my name is Duane, I live in the U.S., and I love to read almost anything as long as it is well written. I'm especially looking for a group that reads modern/contemporary classics, late 20th century and 21st century.
Hi Duane,I'm from the Midwest. It is nice to see a fellow American on here. I've had some great reading experiences being part of this group. Welcome.
