Thanks Paul and Elizabeth! I like the group reads you have this month! I definitely want to read all three!
Hi! I'm Amber. I'm in the US. I read mostly literary fiction and plays. I see this seems to be the group most of the people from the soon to be deleted perks group ended up.
Welcome to the group Amber. Let us know if you want import any of your challenges, book lists etc and we can open a folder for you.
Thank you Elizabeth and Paul!Elizabeth thank you for the kind offer. But I don't have anything I need to move because my challenges are all in other groups. I think it is really wonderful of you guys to make a space for people to move over their challenges.
Hi everyone, I joined a few days ago, after Paul welcomed members over from the about to close Perks group - thanks Paul! My name is Pink (real name as well as cyber name) I live in the UK (Essex) with 2 teenage kids and 4 cats. Obviously I love reading and like quite a broad range of books - except chick lit and new romance/adult stuff.
Looking forward to seeing some old faces from Perks and meeting some new book friends too -this looks like a fun and friendly group :)
Oh and Elizabeth thank you for making my folder where I can store all my book challenges, so glad I didn't have to lose that information!
Welcome Pink :) My inlaws live in Essex and my teenage daughter was born there by accident (long story!) Your reading goals list looks good I need to go back and have a proper look at it.
Hi I'm Gill and joined a couple of days ago from a group that is soon closing down. I recently broke my shoulder, but once it's healed a bit, I'm looking forward to joining in with this group. Thanks so much, Elizabeth, for providing me with a folder.
Hi, another refugee from Perks here... I'm Leslie and I like classics, historical fiction, and most of all, mysteries but I have been trying to expand my reading. Thanks Paul for the invitation...
Hi I'm Helen from West Berkshire, another Perks refugee!I love to read both fiction and non-fiction and have found being a member of a book group is a really good way to find new authors and titles. Look forward to extending my "to read" list further!
I was pointed here from Perks too, I loved the mix of books I saw as group reads, and so here I am.I'm Jane and I live on the Cornish coast and I live on the Cornish coast with my fiance, my dog, and stacks of books I want to find the time to read or re-read.
Hi. I'm Tom from Long Island, NY. I'm married to a lovely lady who is too good for me and have a college age daughter and a son who has Down syndrome and autism. I love to read a variety of books which is why I thought this group looked great.
Thank you, Alannah and Elizabeth.Strange that Tom and I should arrive on the same day, because I had a brother with Down's syndrome.
Hiya! My name is Jo. I've come over from the perks group too. I'm looking forward to joining in with the discussions :)
Hello everyone! I like to read a bit of all sorts and am hoping to get some good book recommendations - the group looks great!
I didn't introduce myself before, but I'm CH from Pennsylvania in the USA. I'm married to my goodreads friend "mike" (who literally stole my heart for his icon LOL!) I'm enjoying the Book Vipers very much and look forward to the continued enrichment goodreads has to offer :)
