Thanks for the info Marianne. I like Corinna but I was hoping the popularity of the TV series might encourage her to produce a new Phryrne Fisher.

Oh, so you haven't got to it yet....I had it on my shelf for a very long time before I finally got around to reading it! It was ok but I enjoyed Dirt Music a lot more. That's a great book :)

Brenda, I got my info from fantasticfiction.co.uk but Kerry Geenwood has her own website too. This is from that:
"When is the next Corinna novel coming out?
12/10/12
Kerry writes a Phryne Fisher and a Corinna Chapman in alternate years. That's a big workload. One brilliant novel each year!
In 2012 it's Phryne's turn with Unnatural Habits. So in October 2013 we will be publishing the new Corinna, so far the title is unknown but we'll keep you posted"
I am already salivating for the next Corinna......
Finished January's male Aussie author. It was A God for the Killing
by Kain Massin. I gave it 3 stars.

Ploughing through my January reads, enjoyed them both more than I thought I would. The Devil's Numbers 3.5 stars - interwoven stories regarding an evil presence
Ghost Beyond Earth 4 stars - another evil presence (hmmm.... a bit of a theme here) but even better than the first book
I'm ready for the first of my February reads Earthly Delights by Kerry Greenwood - not Phrynne Fisher this time but Corinna Chapman, a baker who likes to solve things. A good series, read it years ago and more than happy to revisit.
Lilliana wrote: "I would love to join in - I will have to spend a few hours deciding on what book to read first!... time has now elapsed and I found a book for January. It even has the 'J' theme too, so pretty ha..."

JANUARY - (Male Author) Death Most Definite

I will. Well so far I really like it. The first 100 pages or so were quite gripping & terrifying.
I'll just have to see if it continues to grab me towards the end.

For the March new release, what exactly constitutes new? Does it have to be 2013 release? For those of us who rely largely on library books this is a bit hard.Think I might have to go with Griffith Review 39 lit mag for March.

Medea is a rerelease from 1997, Out of the Black Land is from 2011. We are due for another Corinna Chapman this year as she usually alternates these with Phrynne Fisher, but they usually come out later in the year. Fingers crossed for a Corinna, I love those!
